We were in town for the Gee’s Bend Airing of the Quilts. I had made the reservation some time ago and the owner kept in contact with me with information and directions. After a long day at the festival we were thrilled to have a cold drink on the porch of this beautiful 1850’s home. Julia and Dudley were wonderful hosts! The rooms are filled with period furniture, most of it original to the house. Beds and baths were perfect as was breakfast with, among other things, homemade biscuits and jams from Dudley’s kitchen. Probably the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in!

Liberty Hall is a gem! It’s a beautiful home, meticulously cared for by Julia and Dudley, the charming hosts. The house appears like a step back in time, but with central air and Wi-Fi! I stayed three nights and the room was beautiful, the bed comfortable, and the hosts kind, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious. I loved sitting on the porch swing listening to the wind chimes and watching the hummingbirds in the flowers, and talking about the area history with Julia and Dud. They are hospitality experts. I genuinely enjoyed my stay and will return!

Just stayed for the 3rd time at Liberty Hall and it is more like home everytime! The home is beautiful and full of history! We LOVE the clean rooms and the food is delicious, but the absolute best part of our stay is always the kind and friendly hosts! Also, the shopping in Camden is the BEST!

We stayed one night at Liberty Hall - and highly recommend this bed and breakfast for a stay in Camden. Julia and Dudley are gracious hosts. The house is beautiful, and the room has anything you could need - hairdryer, soap/shampoo, q-tips, etc. Dudley made a breakfast of eggs, bacon, grits and biscuits (with homemade jellies/jams). Delicious! Their surrounding land is pastoral and peaceful. They can provide recommendations for the local area, and history for their lovely family home.

This is a historic home with original furniture passed down from generations. It’s so charming and warm. Our hosts Julia and Dudley are the best. We had a tour of the house and the family history who lived there. The accommodation are very comfortable and they supply you with everything you need. Breakfast was delicious. We look forward to returning to Camden Alabama

Staying at Liberty Hall is a unique, lovely experience. Julia and Dudley are warm and welcoming, and they will tailor the experience to your wants and needs. If you are looking for companionship on the wraparound porch, they’ll sit with you and chat about anything and everything. If you are looking for personal quiet time to recharge, they’ll provide space and rest. The home and property are just gorgeous, and Dud’s breakfast is 10/10!

Staying at Liberty Hall was more like visiting family. Julia and Dudley are warm, welcoming people. The house and grounds are lovely and Dudley's biscuits are worth the visit. Great for bird watchers! Highly recommended!

I can't say enough good about this place and it's host and hostess. The house is amazing! The bed and pillows were perfect! A step back in time but with all the comforts of today! Breakfast was delicious! Conversation was full of fun and grace! A Christian atmosphere! Julia (the maid) and Dudley (the chef) made me feel welcome in their home from the time I drove up and she met me in the yard until I said good-bye four days later. Being my first time to stay at a BNB I didn't know what to expect but I enjoyed meeting the other guests and talking on the back porch and around the table. Camden is worth the drive just to stay at Liberty Hall and meet Dudley and Julia.
