Super enjoyed our time with Lewis & Clark. We felt taken care of from the time we arrived until we left. Charley was a wonderful guide. She spotted bald eagles and told other interesting information about the area. We had kids going with us and they even provided coloring sheets in case they got antsy. She was so kind to interact with the kids and all of us. She ensures we all had a safe and lovely time. We did the scenic float trip. No paddling. Just relaxing and taking in the views. Wonderful! Highly recommend!

We did the scenic float trip and it was gorgeous. Our guide, Grace, was friendly, knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, and an expert raft and river navigator. We saw all kinds of wildlife, including marmots, osprey and eagles thanks to Grace showing us where to look. The views of the Tetons are stunning and the entire experience is well worth the money. I accidentally booked our trip for the wrong week and they were able to fit us on a different trip the day we showed up. Highly recommend this locally owned company with top-notch staff.

Lewis and Clark is a wonderful company to work with! Communication was awesome and the workers were super nice! Wes, our shuttle driver was hilarious and engaged in conversation that was genuine! He is fantastic! Grace, our river guide, was the best ever! We have floated down and done many white water adventures, and we have had many different guides. However, we LOVED Grace! She was sweet, hard-working, knowledgeable, compassionate, funny, and she LOVED what she was doing! You could see that oozing out of her! We saw tons of bald eagles, osprey, geese, and ducks. We are so glad that we were with Grace and we hope to return next year—hoping to get her again! Great hire L&C!!!

An absolute 10/10 experience! Our family of 3 had the best time out on the water for the scenic float. We didn’t know what to expect as this was a first for us, but Izak was a fantastic, knowledgeable, & fun guide! He let our son steer for a while and encouraged us all to take a cold plunge in the river. Couldn’t have asked for a better time. If you’re looking for a water activity in Jackson, you must book L&C! We’ll be back! Stay wild!

We did a scenic float trip with Lewis & Clark River Expeditions in Jackson, WY, and it was such a great experience for our family. We had our 3-year-old and 7-year-old with us, and our guide, Caleb, was amazing. He was so understanding, patient, and kind with our kids — he even brought a nature coloring book and colored pencils for them, which kept them happy and entertained during the calm stretches.

The whole float was beautiful and relaxing (as much as it can be with an antsy 3 yr old). Caleb shared interesting facts about the area and pointed out wildlife along the way — we saw bald eagles and stunning views of the Tetons. We felt completely safe and cared for the entire time.

We can’t recommend Lewis & Clark River Expeditions enough, especially for families with young kids. If you can, ask for Caleb — he truly went above and beyond to make the trip special for all of us!

We had a family group of six with varying ages from 13-65 and this float was great for everyone! While enjoying the beautiful scenery and relaxing, you also had the opportunity to steer/paddle the boat, jump in for a swim, and the option to go through a small section of small rapids. Pretty sure our tour guides name was Caleb and he was very knowledgeable and funny. Great experience overall!

This was my first time taking on white water. It was a thrill and a check off my bucket list. Brennan was our guide and was an amazing guide. He was informative, showed us some great sights, informed us about the wild life in and along the banks of the snake river (we saw 4 bald eagles, and a few osprey this trip). He was also a comedian and kept the trip light and friendly. They took us from the main building by bus to the river. It was a 30 minute ride. Then you put in and ride the waves for about 2 hours. When you end the raft trip you hike about .25 miles to where the bus is parked. You ride 30 minutes back to the main building and it’s a total of 4 hours. I would recommend going in the 11:00am trip. It has warmed up for the day and the water is 60 degrees and COLD! Add the wind to that it’s FREEZING! This company is great! They work with you and think of everything for you! Give them a try! Don’t forget your sunscreen!

We had an incredible experience with Lewis and Clark River Expeditions! From the moment we arrived, everyone was so friendly and welcoming — the girls in the office were super helpful and the driver made us feel safe

A special shoutout to Henry, our raft guide, who absolutely made the trip unforgettable. He was full of fascinating local history and fun facts that kept us all engaged, and he went out of his way to make our twin girls’ birthday extra special. His energy, knowledge, and attention to detail really stood out. We did the scenic tour and were able to spot 7 bald eagles, a marmot, as well as a deer swimming across the river.

Thank you to the whole team for a fun, safe, and memorable day on the water! Highly recommend!

If you’re thinking about booking a float trip… DO IT. This was hands down one of the most fun and unexpectedly educational experiences we had. The scenery was breathtaking, but what really made the day was our guide, Caleb.

Caleb had us laughing, feeling safe, and excited for the ride. He’s got this perfect mix of chill and confidence that instantly put everyone at ease, even the nervous first-timers in our group. His knowledge of the river and local wildlife was amazing.

The float itself was exhilarating with just enough adrenaline and without ever feeling unsafe. Caleb kept most of us dry and made sure everyone (kids) that wanted to get wet… Got wet. Speaking of kids, he helped our youngest kid “guide” the boat and really enhanced the experience for him.

If you’re looking for the perfect combo of adventure, nature, and laughs, ask for Caleb. He made the day unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back and do it again!

Was an unforgettable experience! From check in to drop off, everyone was friendly and fantastic.
Danny was our guide and super knowledgeable. Took our safety seriously, yet didn’t let it get in the way of us having a blast.
Would highly recommend Lewis and Clark to anyone wanting to get out on the river.
We went in August, as it was our first time white water rafting. The river was fast enough to have a white water experience, yet not scary high water.
We even saw a couple of bald eagles!
Can’t wait to do it again!
