Property gives me Downtown Abbey vibes, and the road that led to it was tucked away and quiet. However, it was perfectly as we made wine stops all the way to Healdsburg.

The wines we sampled didn’t standout to me personally but the person who helped us out was professional though a bit standoffish.

Len gave us a great tasting with a lot of information about the castle. He was definitely an expert! I really enjoyed the gunsight. The trophies and medals displayed with historic family photos really help tell more of a story behind the winery. Loved the gorgeous landscaping. My only negative was that I got called 3 times in addition to my online reservation for more info that seemed irrelevant and I got asked 3 times for my credit card. Seems stuffy, annoying, and no other wineries bothered me as often as this one. Would recommend another way to register.

Len Kopel of Ledson Winery provided an excellent wine tasting experience for my girlfriend and I for our first anniversary of being a couple. At Ledson Winery you can expect: Delicious charcuterie with excellent presentation, tasty sandwiches that rival sandwich shops across the nation, and exquisite wines for any palette that delights the senses. All at a modern castle with a beautiful view without exorbitant expenses. Everyone should make time to retreat to this paradise on Earth.

The property and house are five stars, it's immaculate!

The tasting itself was eventful in the wrong ways. Our host was way too comfortable to talk about insane topics that were not prompted in any way. Some things that were brought up: Bitcoin is racist, panty dropping wines, investment advice on gold and silver and how the dollar will fail, sharing pictures of knife collections, and just generally being unprofessional.

As a group of younger men, we're probably the best situation for this stuff to be laughed off but I expect more out of a wine tasting.

While on our way from Healdsburg to Sonoma, we stopped by Ledson for the classic tasting. It is a standing tasting at the bar area. Casual, with no pressure. We were in the Sonoma area between Christmas and New Year’s which was perfect. No crowds, no traffic, and lots of attention.
The wine was fantastic, and Denise was great. She listened to what our likes were and offered a couple additional options which we ended up purchasing.
The Ledson is a beautiful, brick home turned winery. The grounds are gorgeous and the woodwork inside is breathtaking. There are more formal sit down tastings if you prefer.
The prices are reasonable too. Definitely recommend. We had a great time.

The wine tasting experience at Lesson Winery is exceptional, with knowledgeable staff guiding guests through a selection of premium wines. From crisp whites to robust reds, each sip is a journey through the region's terroir.
Winery also hosts a variety of events and activities, from vineyard tours to wine pairing dinners. These experiences offer a deeper appreciation for the winemaking process and the region's rich viticulture heritage.

I went here with my girls on a Saturday and had reserved ahead of time. We were running a bit late so we called to notify them and they were very understanding of it so they let us go in a bit later, although it didn’t seem busy. The tastings consisted of 5 or so and mostly dry red wine. I enjoyed them! We also bought two personalized charcuterie boards to share. I ended up losing my Kate Spade bracelet here and dropped it somewhere. By the time I left, I realized I lost it there so I even went back and looked for it but didn’t find it. Later that day; they called my friend who had reserved and told her that they found it. I couldn’t go back. She asks if they would be able to ship it and they did! Priority too! That is the kindest gesture anyone has ever done for me 🤍 it is so sweet! Without making me pay for it. I appreciate you guys so much and thank you being so kind 🤍 I will definitely come back!!

Very impressed with the great estate and the wonderful staff that welcomed us! The tasting room is quite busy but the staff showed us around the beautiful home. It was a lovely experience to see this opulent and gorgeous building! It was a fantastic home.

Tried the Ledson Zinfandel for lunch and it was so delicious!
