So I have been to this location in Lincoln many many times. Every time I come there's always some sort of issue. But today was the kicker for me. I had ordered a basket of fries for my special needs son and a basket of the chicken fingers and fries for the rest of us to share. It came with one dish of barbecue sauce and I asked for an extra they brought it no problem. When I got my bill I saw that I was charged an extra $0.99 for this side of sauce which I was not informed of. When I asked about this fee getting removed I was told that they are not able to remove this fee because it is now listed on their menu that they charge for any extra sides. The thing is is we never even opened the menu because we knew exactly what we wanted. I continued to get pushed back just stating at this point it should be a customer service issue and just remove it. The thing is I would not have minded paying it if I was just told hey that's an extra .99 no problem. But the fact it became such an argument I will never be back to this establishment again. I would come here at Christmas and buy hundreds of dollars of gift cards come here to eat and they have definitely lost to me as a customer. And when I asked for the manager I was told she was the manager so if that is the case leatherby's I suggest you give your manager some customer service skills training.

Mmmmm.... love Leatherbys ice cream and fudge. I order the Richs Bannana Split with 2 scoops of pistachio and a third scoop of whatever I feel. Some of my favorites are mint chip, chocolate chip, toasted almond, or butter pecan.
This order comes with several different toppings and I love them all. The toppings are pretty typical as toppings go.
For food, the club is one of my favorites. Their fries are coated which give them an extra crunch without being too crispy. I love them hot to dip in my ice cream... (don't knock it till you try it - trust me).
Gets loud in the restaurant but it is a popular place so there are lots of people in there.

I have loved leatherby's ice cream since I was a kid... this location is fairly new. I mean, parking is usually difficult, but not impossible to find.

I really like the house salad with all of the pecans and the goat cheese, cranberries, and chicken, and it's a really good portion size.

My kids split a steak sandwich and the sweet potato fries and the loved them.

I love that. They will bring samples of new flavors to you if you ask...
But of course, I really love their homemade ice cream! If you get the banana split, be ready to share that. In fact, be ready to share any of the ice cream orders. They are generous portions. We ended up getting to go containers and bringing the rest home.

The service was very friendly and there happened to be a lot of birthdays at night, so it took a while for anyone to bring water when we arrived... probably about ten minutes after we sat down.

Definitely give them a try.

Went on a Sunday afternoon and wasn't too crowded. Was seated immediately, service was fast and friendly. Food was really good. Banana Nut Milkshake was delicious. Definitely worth checking out.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The food, the staffs and atmosphere. We never leave this place feeling unfulfilled. Our waitress Neva was exceptional. She made us feel so welcome, attentive and kind. This is a family business that make you feel like you're part of the family.

Came here a few weeks ago for a birthday as a party of 30. We were sat in another room with a lot of windows and an additional large party across from us. Even though my party took up two long tables ,the waitress was still somehow able to split our checks (she asked as we first sat down how to do the bill).
The wait time for the food wasn’t too long and when the food did come out we loved how nicely everything looked .
While everything looked nice on the plates the taste was even better. Wife and I ordered a special version of the black and tan (I forgot the exact name ) and it was massive. The carmel was probably the best tasting Carmel I’ve ever had .
Other people in our party were able to fit both a regular dish and dessert in their stomachs but we could only finish the ice cream. Our family was very pleased with the food and customer service. I’m glad I finally was able to experience Leatherby’s !
