Wow, this one really exceeded my expectations. Cool building on a cool street. Absolutely loved the Seitan Hash, which was very filling - even had to save my vegan lemon scone for later. Can’t wait to come back and try other menu items in the future!

Excellent locally owned restaurant with delicious food, amazing stuff, cute and funky decorations and two levels for dining. You order at the counter, drinks are given there and then a buzzer given for you to pick up your food when ready. They have a variety of delicious scones too. Coffee is superb!

Lazy Jane's is anything but on a football Saturday. Expect a long line to order food and a chaotic scramble to get a table. The reward for that is delicious baked goods and freshly made brunch food and hot, strong coffee. You will be bussing your own dishes too. Not a negative, but as in life, clean up after yourself

Very cute and cozy cafe! There tuna melts are the most awesome thing ever! The iced caramel lattes are very wonderful too. I also love the decor and seating upstairs.

So cute! We are from out of town and went for breakfast. By far the BEST scones I have ever had, not dry, very flavorful, even a few days later! Cant devide which was best, the raspberry, lemon, or blueberry ones! Had a chorizo scramble and it was just the right amount of veg and spice. Loved the atmosphere and homey quality, with a variety of seating for every size group!

This is my favorite breakfast spot in Madison. The food is great, the prices are surprisingly low, and the atmosphere and aesthetic are cute. They have rotating specials which are usually good, but you can always play it safe an get a scramble. As a huge plus, you can bring your vegan friends! Be sure to stop at Batch Bakehouse afterward 😉

I love this place because of the cozy atmosphere, the food is excellent, the staff is great, the person who served my family and I was trying her best to speak Spanish and I thought that was a very kind gesture. Maybe they will consider moving to a bigger place, since the last time we went back it took 1 hour and a few minutes for the food to arrive, the cashier let us know there was a delay and we were willing to wait but we were with two girls and they were very hungry, so if you go with kids maybe it is something to consider.
But other than that it is great!

Very nice atmosphere, friendly and welcoming Staff.
Our food was good and nice portions. Cafes good as most places, water available,
In the end a classic spot, to relax and enjoy. Taking a goodie home for later is essential.
A fun experience..☕️🍽️
