I have been a wine club member for many years at L'Aventure. However, I had not done a tasting there in a couple of years, so we invited some friends from North County and went yesterday. We have done wine tastings at several locations in California and Europe and Australia. The time we spent yesterday with our host Eric could not have been more enjoyable. The information he provided and his thoughtful responses to our questions were illuminating. The wine as always was spectacular, and he was kind enough to show us the expanded caves. Although it was a little coolish outside the permanent heaters did their job. Great wine, great people.

Had an amazing experience drinking wonderful older wines in the cave with Maddox who was great! Just a beautiful place! We'll be back the next time we're in Paso!

Just stunning wines.

Maddux was a great host--knowledgeable, easy to chat with, and warm. After our tasting he briefly showed us the caves, which was a special treat. Of all the wines we tasted this trip, L'Aventure was the standout.

Great communication prior to our trip, as well.

Oh, and they're dog friendly! That's a HUGE bonus!

Great wines with a beautiful site. Leanne gives an amazing presentation with not only the history of the owner/wine maker and vineyards but the cave expansion, as well. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting L'Aventure !

We booked the Cave Tour and had a blast / even though our cave time was cut short since they were going through a process of using sulphur to clean barrels - the sulphur in the air would make you cough ever so often but drinking a little wine here and there would bring you back to normal. The grounds of the facility were breathtaking! Our tour guide was super knowledgeable, she was able to answer all of our questions about the wines and the history of the winery!! We had the opportunity to try the cab reserve that they were only selling to members so we signed up!! We are

We belong to a he wine club and usually travel to the Paso Robles area once a year. We made a 1pm appointment for a tasting and we were helped by Maddox. We remembered him from the prior year. He was very knowledgeable and let us know about the current vintages as well as overall winery/tasting room operations. We purchased several bottles before leaving. We enjoy their wines.

Great venue and great wines. We had a very enjoyable time tasting the Optimus (our fave), Cote a Cote, and Estate Cuvée. Be sure to check out the prehistoric whale bones, which were found on the property. Amazing, right?

These guys make some of the best wine in Paso Robles. It’s not the big Cab that Paso is known for, it’s French inspired but locally influenced quality wine. Very elegant and refined. The Estate Reserve is great and I’m also a fan of the Cote a Cote. It’s on the pricey side but worth it. Overall, I was impressed by the wine.
