The Laughlin River Lodge is a fun place to stay!
But there's pros and cons to this property.
As for the food, you can find the best cheap eats here! Burgers, fries, hot dogs, for less than $5, and they're tasty and filling! Steer clear of the pastrami sandwich, unless you like to chew rubber.
The employees are kind and fun, for the most part.
There isn't an actual restaurant on the property, which has patrons going elsewhere for a good sit-down meal! (Revenue lost for the property).
Paid for, and stayed in, a premium, river view room. The view was great!
However, the mattresses and pillows were hard as rocks, there wasn't a hair dryer on site (literally), and the housekeepers were non existent. Our room keys didn't work 3 days out of our 5 day stay.
We traveled with family for leisure, so we made the best of what we had!
Laughlin is a great place to just kick back and relax.
But I wouldn't pay those prices again for those rooms, and lack of amenities.

Check in is very easy, Customer service is excellent. Casino floor has a great variety of games. Good place to eat and a lot of activities. Rooms are average but good for what you pay. Will definitely stay there again.

Clean safe place to travel. Big Rooms with mini refrigerator. Kid friendly RK and bowling. Gym close for weekend that's not good for parents. Luckily there local gym outside hotel near by 20 minutes away. Still good getaway 4 and 3/4 Hotel

We enjoyed a two night stay during Nee Year and are looking forward to returning real soon. Very friendly staff, helpful and courteous. I love being around local people. A good time for me!

Positive: Accessibility. Negative: Sadly they closed the restaurant inside which had really good food at a fair price. Some of the furnishings in the family suites need to be changed out. They?re really starting to show a lot of ware. And what happened to the hair dryers?

Summary: Run down stinky hotel, with a few bright spots. Not recommended.

To celebrate our 30th anniversary, my wife and I decided to revisit the site of our "cheap and cheerful" honeymoon. It was the Gold River back then. We've stayed here a handful of times since, including when it was the River Palms. Those were good visits.

That said, our stay this time was below average. Some good: Desk and food service staff were nice and helpful. The "General Store" gift shop and food counter was totally up to date and modern. We had some good luck on the machines. The parking garage was clean and reasonably close to the entrance.

However, the place is really run down. The method of subdividing the casino into to little themed casinos was weird. Food selection and availability is dire. As in many other reviews, the smoke stench on the main casino floor is overwhelming. Even the little non-smoking section wasn't far enough away to abate the atmosphere.

We did stay on a no smoking floor, and that was a respite. It was nice to have a quick escape. But, the room was shabby. Comfortable and clean but pretty shabby. The mattress was very comfortable but the pillows are plastic. The furniture is mismatched; one of the chairs had a stain. There is an old box tv. Sure the idea is to spend time away from the room, but not like this.

At this point we would not return to gamble, eat, or stay.

Love the staff especially that bartender "zeb" I think that was his name well he is amazing and gave excellent customer service to me and my family .he really knows how to put a smile on someone's face because of his great personality and happy vibes. I like the selection of the games and the food is great, for this is a must try spot. prices are good and the gift shop store is amazing .

The service is hit n miss. Most of the staff is great with exceptional service while others might be related to owners because they're rude af! They continue to change menus on drinks and our favorite didn't make the list. Some are great and still make it while others absolutely refuse! Damn shame that people literally hold the doors open for you to travel to other casinos on the strip.
