Legacy Lodge at Lanier Island was a memorable and exciting way to end 2024. My family/friends attended a NYE party here. Food/drinks to live band, was definitely a night to remember. Staff and services were friendly the moment we walked in. Rooms were nice and clean. And the views from our rooms were beautiful. We would definitely recommend this the others if they want to experience a great weekend getaway. Lastly, I'd like to thanks the staff and everyone at Legacy Lodge for making this experience one to remember.

The lodge/hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. We went for the New Year’s party package and enjoyed the live band, ton of food options including desserts. The crowd was a bit older than we thought but still fun. If you’re looking for something different than normal, live near the lake, and don’t feel like driving far, its definitely worth checking out.

What an amazing place. We were there for NYE with our friends and family. Check in at the legacy lodge was easy breezy. We were welcomed with a glass of bubbly and the staff was friendly and polite. NYE party started at 630 to cocktails and endeavors which were amazing. The band that played at 9 to midnight was entertaining and high energy l. Overall a great time!

Our first time at the lodge. We went for the NYE party and stayed over for the night. The rooms were very clean and the bed/pillows were perfect! We all had a very pleasant experience. Breakfast was also good, had a great variety of food. Def worth another visit!

It was truly an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration! The night was filled with vibrant energy, thanks to an incredible live band that kept everyone on their feet with their infectious music and lively beats. We danced our hearts out, laughing and celebrating every moment as the clock ticked closer to midnight.||The food was nothing short of spectacular—each dish was a burst of flavors, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. From mouth-watering appetizers to the main course, every bite felt like a celebration in itself. And the desserts? Pure magic! Rich, decadent, and delightfully sweet, they were the perfect way to end an already perfect meal.

We attended the NYE Party at Lake Lanier. There were 13 of us in our group and we all had a wonderful time. |||Rooms were nice and clean. Atmosphere around the lodge was very friendly. Heated pool was amazing too.||Only minor gripe I have is that the lighting in the rooms could have been brighter.

Went for New Year’s Eve party with friends and family. Had a great time. The band they hired was energetic and played great songs.||Management was outstanding. They greeted each one of us as we were checking in. ||Great ambience and comfortable room. The view is amazing.

Nice Property, However the service was quite disappointing. we spent one night last weekend at the resort and booked the Villa Suite (best room they offer), after checking in, I took my wife and my son to snow Island and when we returned to our room, heat was not working. we were all a little wet from all the activities from the Snow Island Activities. Had to wrap my 4 yr old son in the blankets so he could be warm, couldn't shower since the hot water was not working nor the fireplace was working. We called the front desk around 7pm for them to have them check it out and the engineer didn't arrive till 9pm, all of us were extremely cold as it was mid 50's in the room. guy at front desk waived the $25 resort fee since the engineer was delayed. when the engineer came, he checked everything out and around 10pm, we were told that heat isn't going to work in this room and they can switch the room or bring a space heater, we opted for different room as we were there for our anniversary and my wife and I wanted to spend some time by the fire place. after that someone came and handed my 4yr old the keys to our new room and left, didn't bother helping us with luggage or anything. We had to pack everything again, and move to a different room in a different villa in the cold weather by ourselves. By the time the move was done, it was around 11pm. Kind of ruined our anniversary night and our 4yr son was already extremely sleepy but couldn't sleep till late because of the whole ordeal.

This was a very bad experience, my wife and I have travelled quite a lot around the world and have stayed at luxury resort and have always been accustomed to service that matches the resort's status. However this one was quite disappointing, and most of all, ruined our anniversary night.

Expected better service from a 4 star resort especially after booking a suite for the night and tried celebrating my anniversary here.

We recently hosted a work "Summer Social" here and had an amazing time! Some of the team came in from out of town and had overnight accommodations. The Lodge is comfortable and has amazing views of Lake Lanier. There are two restaurants which both have excellent food. The pool is open late so lots of people enjoyed a sunset/night swim after the temps cooled off. There are tons of things to do in and around the Lodge. Yard games surround the pool deck. There was a free concert the night we stayed at their outdoor area overlooking the lake. The teambuilding event we setup was at their indoor game room called Game Changer. We had a delicious lunch catered with private seating area for us while we enjoyed axe throwing, duckpin bowling, virtual games and an escape room. They had live music at this venue that evening too. The staff at Game Changer and The Lodge were all amazing. Milagros made sure our lunch at game changer was perfect. Chris P and Chak at Bullfrogs kept our drinks full and snacks ready. Parag oversaw all of it and I will a job well done because my entire team had a blast. Thank you! We will definitely be back and I heard others on our team making plans to come back too.

I just wanted to take a moment to recognize Lee for his outstanding service. He truly went above and beyond to help us during our stay. Not only did he check in with us late at night to ensure everything was going smoothly, but he also extended our stay at no additional charge and even arranged a late checkout. Lee made our day, especially my 3-year-old’s, and we are incredibly grateful for his thoughtfulness and dedication. Employees like Lee deserve to be acknowledged and appreciated for their exceptional work. Keep up the amazing work, Lee we really appreciate you

Our room was extremely warm when arriving, turned ac down and left for 3 hours it had only gone down a single degree we were burning up in there. Decided to head down to the pool, it was extremely warm and disgusting, bugs, hair, garbage floating around drink cups all around the pool that I had to keep my toddlers away from. The pool servers were poor and non attentive. It took us 25 minutes to receive two very simple drinks, while others around who ordered after us but the same drink got theirs. Then we get our bill and of course they’re over priced but they also over tipped and charged a dinner fee? For two single drinks Unbelievable. The most unbelievable part is that on check in we were told no golf carts were available. We had selected the package that included the golf cart and i had chosen 4th of July as the day for our cart. But we were told we would be put on a waiting list but that those who were checking in on Thursday would have priority? But yet we had checked in the day before and given no priority. The breakfast was poor and not worth paying for, the eggs were gummy, bacon so hard and no flavor, potatoes were cold. The parking lot is far from the doors so we decided the second night to valet our car which is $20, low and behold at check out we were charged for two nights of valet which we did not do. We still have not received a refund. Please save your money and stay somewhere else, nothing about this was worth the money and we will not be back.

I would give there villa rentals a zero if I could. The walls are paper thin, no privacy. My wife called the front desk twice to ask the room next to us to keep it down at 1am. They offered to move us to the hotel in the middle of the night yet refused to enforce the quiet hours. Do not waste you money if you are looking for privacy..

If you want to cool off at the pool forget it. The water is extremely warm. Not only that but it was filthy. For the amount of money that you pay to stay here you would think that they could keep the pool maintained. Very disappointed.
