I read the reviews and I'm really shocked at some of them.  This is a really nice place! Old?  Yes, but it's nice, clean and well kept and the new owners are fantastic. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. But "Small toilets--low counter tops?".  Seriously?  This is Tombstone, not Scottsdale! Things are vintage! You don't come to Tombstone for Hyatt accommodations! You come to see and feel history! The new owners of this motel are making wonderful progress and have great plans! The views here are fantastic, a great hot breakfast, close to the sites, clean, cosy and comfortable!  We're excited for our next stay here!!

This place is a roach motel used to stay there for years. We haven't been in 5 years. The new owners are absolutely doing a horrible job. There's cockroaches in the room. Breakfast is drab to say the least. Coffee's week manager's dad's rude the towels are like hand towels. The place needs a paint job and the rooms were not clean. There's old wash rags in our shower debris under the bed. Our clean sheets had dirty handprint stains on them. We rented three rooms for four nights for a total of $1,900 complete rip-off.
Two of the rooms didn't have quilts and we asked him. Hey, where's the bedspread? Oh no, some don't come with bedspreads. Positive note, the pool was heated. It has nice views. This is like below. Motel 6 level we won't be staying again. Don't feel like we got good value. Ed, I'm an Arizona resident and a biker and they didn't give me any discounts. We came with four Arizona residents. They're better off selling it and let somebody who wants to take care of it properly run it. It used to be a beautiful hotel. Now it looks like an abandoned shack

Great location and the best view in tombstone by far! Yes, it’s an older motel, however my room was fine. It was clean, I didn’t see any bugs or anything like that. Everything worked great, you can tell it had been remodeled. The air-conditioning blew nice and cold, the bed was comfortable, and the pillows were high-quality. The breakfast was acceptable for being complimentary. All in all, I had a great stay and it was a good bargain for the area.

It’s hard for me to write bad reviews. My review is to help others know what to expect while visiting this “motel”.

First, the Location and view are amazing. We rented 3 rooms for 4 nights and stayed with other family. We had plenty of space to hang out as a family which was nice.

This Lodge definitely has potential to be something special.

Now for the negatives…
-roaches in the rooms
-dirty linens
-poor service from owners (employees were kind)
-owners are stingy with toilet paper, quality of towels, “complimentary “ breakfast, shampoo/conditioner/soap
-owners are RUDE! Shamed us for wanting them to light the fire for the fire pit.
-truly felt unwelcomed

Positive: The customer service by the staff was excellent. Negative: I really think this hotel needs a major overhaul. It's old and falling apart. There's only so many times you can plaster cracks in the ceiling and walls. The bed was hard and very uncomfortable. The bathtub spigot was falling out of the wall. No microwave

Our room had a refrigerator leak onto floor no towels for shower tub was filthy. The toilet ran all night. Then when checking in they took my credit card which was all ready paid on Expedia for a price then charged my card again for a different amount which still hasn't been refunded to me it's been 10 days. Manager said it's a corporate level investigation. What a joke. Stay away unless you want a lot of problems

I hate how you're so close to town but you can't walk there unless you're okay walking next the highway with no sidewalk. The room was clean the a/c heater worked, there was a nice fluffy clean bed and pillows plus the tv worked there was a good sized mini fridge but that's about all the positives I can say about the room tbh. The toilet and counter were super low and I'm short so it felt like a dwarfs room or something lol. Everything is old and looks very worn out. The art on the wall was such a sad joke. The parking is good though. They have a nicely landscaped area to walk the dogs around to do their business. The breakfast had just like oatmeal, yogurt, muffins, eggs, sausage, cereal. They had eggo waffles too but I didn't see a toaster maybe I didn't look well enough so I just had to microwave these eggo waffles and it was not very tasty unfortunately lol. The lady and man at the front desk were very Courteous though. Oh and the price was awesome!
