I would never stay at this place again. They robbed me of my deposit,and I found cockroaches in our room. There was also black mold all over the walls and bed. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay, go to World Mark.

This area is full of seedy, rundown motels. The whole area is depressed and you can’t do much with the lake due to smell and human hazards. Given that, I appreciated the room and the service, however….. my room had giant spider webs and spiders in every corner of the ceiling. The floor was filthy, swept but not likely mopped in awhile. Large gaps in doors made room very cold at night. Amenities included were tv, mini fridge, microwave. It didn’t smell bad and it’s definitely old and painted over many times, but I found it acceptable. If you want modern/nice, consider one of the casinos or The Regency.

Lakeview Inn is one of the best hotel in the Nice-Lucern-Lakeport area. The room is super clean, spacious with a nice and comfy bed . The staff is very courteous and kind. The location is right across the lake which is very relaxing.
I took off a star because you can tell it is an old hotel which can use some upgrade. Other than that, it is a very convenient and good place to stay.

The non-smoking room I had was clean and the area is quiet. It feels somewhat like a bungalow! Price was fantastic as well. The front desk took great care of me even though I arrived at 2am without a reservation.

Came from Oregon to visit grandparents and when we got to the place the room had some really noticeable problems, the bed had dirt on it, the curtains had stains and mold, the floor had damages in it and one door had a hole in it. We got two rooms and one we found a needle under the mattress. Seemed like an old building it’s just had so many issues. Made me feel uneasy and sketchy. Pretty expensive for a motel with no pool or breakfast.

It's run down and the place is a dump. Hella ghetto, and way overpriced. Dirty outdated rooms. And the shower is really small and closed in. It's not worth a 100$, not worth 5$. The blankets and walls are filthy, if I could I'd give this place a zero.and two thumbs down. Not worth your time or money

We reserved a King "Non-Smoking" room at the Lakeview Inn in Lucerne, CA on Monday, March 18, 2024.||Upon entering the promised room (#118), we smelled the strong stench of cigarette smoke and also found the floor sticky. When we then complained to the night attendant and requested a room change, we were told that promised room is supposed to be non-smoking and something about an elderly couple who stayed there the previous night with no issues. There was no apology given to us for this circumstance and inconvenience. We were then told that the only other type of room available at the property was a double queen room and we would have to pay an extra $23 + tax on top of the King Non-Smoking rate for that room.||We requested that any extra fee for the substitute room be waived given that we were not able to use the King Non-Smoking room that we were promised. The night manager said no and that we would have to be charged the extra fee if we wanted the substitute room. In that double queen room (#106) then given to us, we experienced the following:||Coffee maker filthy; we had to clean it before use.|Bed and pillows were hard, causing a difficult night's sleep |There was no hot water for our showers (or in the bathroom sink) the next morning. We had to take COLD showers!||We contacted the owner the next day and requested that an apology and an immediate refund be issued to compensate us for our inconveniences and disappointments. We have at this time not heard back from him.

Called for reservation went there and they. Charge? More than what they said on the phone. They give us a room that's a bathroom. You couldn't even use hardly because it was too small. The shower was behind the door very inconvenient. If I rated this place not good yeah it would be a -0 but I'll give you a 2 stars about all I can handle. Why in the world would you rent this room to anybody terrible? And the headboard was never cleaned at all. I'm on the bed? How could anybody sleep and it was nasty?
