Well, we got the two story condo. It was decent. It is very dated. Couch, loveseat, beds, and recliner are very comfortable. The beds are very soft and so are the pillows. The beds were made nicely. Very spacious, the shower pressure was great, most things work. Loved having a full sized washer and dryer in the unit. We only stayed one night. Honestly, this place has potential. It looks as though they are trying to make an effort I did see some new things on other units and looking at the lobby, they are possibly going through a makeover. But I felt as though I was staying at someone's house and not a hotel/resort. Resorts are supposed to feel as though you are away from home and don't have to worry about things possibly not working, it should be stress/worry free. I'm actually kind of conflicted as to whether I actually enjoyed my stay here. There are some major repairs that need to be made. Driving up, it is beautiful. The golf course seems maintained (idk because I'm not a golfer). The roads are horrendous. The parking lot isn't planned out nicely and the pot holes need to be dealt with. The hotel itself looks to be in need of better lawn maintenance and add shrubbery, Facelift, Clean off the roofs, redo the stairs, the windows of our condo need to be replaced because bugs are able to get in, anything outside made of wood needs to be replaced, fireplace didn't work, spots on the ceiling, using the laundry facilities inside our unit it is obvious there was some water damage, the subfloor needs to be replaced... Okay it sounds like I'm describing a crappy hotel and maybe it is but I just see the potential here. If this place could change it around, it might be extremely hard to book it here and probably very exclusive. It's very beautiful and honestly this hotel has nothing on the Laquinta Inn in Texas from years ago that we booked last minute after driving all night and needed a place to sleep with our newborn and toddler at 1 am in the morning and immediately left to pay over $300 to stay somewhere else for the night. This resort at least has actual floors and the front doors to the condo actually closes and locks. So yes, it isn't bad. It is okay. I see a lot of potential and look forward to their progress

My family and I stayed in one of the condos.
A little dated, but functional and comfortable, so really no complaints there.
Can’t comment on the golf stuff as none of us play.
Clubroom is small and pathetic, but it has a pool table so it’s not that bad. One of the pool tables ate our money and didn't give us the billiard balls. The other one works just fine.
Outdoor pool wasn’t open; indoor pool was fine.
The whole place feels abandoned, honestly. Granted it was the off season, so maybe that’s it, but it’s a little eerie seeing miscellaneous cars parked in random places, but seeing basically no living souls other than random-ass golfers who put a golf ball though your window. The club house building is also pretty liminal, completely empty other than myself, visibly dated, lights buzzing, etc.
I took some photos (lightly edited) and they look like something straight out of the backrooms, in my opinion.
Giving service 1 star because there was no service, at all, neither good nor bad. But it was fine.

Overall, it’s fine.

If you enjoy golfing, you will have a terrific time at this resort. The course is in the top 100, and it looks challenging.||||The layout of the property is challenging. You can literally see the restaurant, but you can't get there from here. It takes a bit to drive up to the rental condos. It's not convenient to Morgantown. However, there are three really nice restaurants nearby. It's close to Coopers Rock State Park. And the condo was comfy.||||We appreciated the laundry, the full kitchen, and the space. Our unit overlooked one of the fairways and the interstate. It was fairly quiet with some truck noise. The wifi was strong enough for us to work remotely. We enjoyed spending a week here.

The unit has seen better days and those better days were seen by folks who have long passed. We exchanged through RCI, whose affiliates are mostly dated to begin with. Ugh! ||||The townhouse has 2 bedrooms (1 king in master and 2 twins in guest room), 2 full baths (in each bedroom) and a half bath on the main level. Decent sized unit with a main deck off the living room and another deck off the master bedroom. Both decks were not accessible as they were covered in snow that has since turned to ice. These decks offer no privacy anyway, so it may have been a blessing in disguise that no one can go out onto them. I’d hate to keep the drapes closed just so my neighbors aren’t looking in on us. Speaking of drapes — they have cheap ones that barely reach the end of the frames, so expect gaps in your windows and sliding doors.||||Kitchen: there were pots and pans (with deep scratches on the teflon on some) and cooking utensils but no chopping board and blender. They did have a toaster and coffee maker. They provided 3 dishwashing tablets , a dishwashing liquid for handwashing dishes and an extra trash bag. There was no sponge, however. ||||Dining: the chairs and bench were lose and rickety. Be careful.||||Laundry: full size washer and dryer. They left 2 travel packs of detergent as well. Careful using these, the washer had 3 settings and 1 setting did not work. It was washing for hours and didn’t move along in its process. Dryer was the same thing. It’s in the same room as the water heater and furnace and we didn’t think the dryer was going the entire day until we checked! Holy cow. So keep an eye on these, if you use them.||||Beds were ok, floors upstairs creaked so much, it felt like your walking on springs (feels and sounds like).||||I do have to say that maintenance, when they are there, are very responsive. We requested for the parking to be shoveled and were told maintenance wasn’t in until the next day (we checked in on a Sunday), and when we returned Monday evening, the parking spots on our cluster were shoveled. Can’t say the same for the other clusters, guess you have to request! We also asked to borrow a shovel as we thought we could clear out the deck of snow, they did provide (soil shovel), which didn’t work coz the snow’s old and has turned to ice.||||Location was quiet and driving by cheat lake to get to the property is always nice. Maybe they can update their curtains and pots and pans and it would improve these dated units a tad.

The course looks amazing so glad it’s finally coming back around only thing. It really needs is some food added in the clubhouse, especially when the halfway building is not open and possibly a course Marshall. We played as a 2some and the 4some infront of us took 4:51 mins and they WOULD not let us pass. Called Proshop noone ever came out.

The unit that we had was dated, but clean and comfortable. The sofa and love seat were very comfortable, as was the bed. If you are looking for posh, this isn't it, but it was definitely serviceable. I did not have the opportunity to play the golf course, but it looked to be well maintained. There is a pretty good size exercise building with a variety of equipment.

The hotel was alright, a lot of property with minimal staff, but we were there during the off season. Good place for a conference.

That being said, whoever cooks for their catered meals is an incredible chef. The fried chicken is some of the best I have ever had in my life. The tomato bisque was delicious, and way, way up there for best soup-like I've ever had. I'm glad I got to compliment the caterer to let him know, but it's so good it's worth mentioning here. Incredible food.

We stayed while driving from the Midwest to the Northeast, and we're blown away by the spot (even off season!). This is a beautiful golfing community with individual condos that afford families a quiet, contemplative stay. The nearby golf course, winding hills and river and stunning and the nearby businesses are quite friendly. The staff and the cleanliness of the room were first rate. We would love to spend MORE time there in the future. Thanks for having us.
