We attended a small family reunion event hosted here and it was a lovely place to spend a few relaxing days together. The staff was very kind and accommodating. We enjoyed the convenience of the coffeeshop and the onsite restaurant plus the golf course and restaurant just a short walk away. We had wanted to take advantage of the amenities like bikes and pickleball and boat rentals but we were so relaxed we just ended up enjoying hanging out by the pool!

I was there today for a networking luncheon and I have to say the food is amazing! I understand some updates have been made and it made for a most memorable luncheon.
The food is absolutely fresh and centers around seasonal vegetables without all the heavy butter and salt that is typically found in restaurant food.
The salmon was grilled to perfection, The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender.

I highly recommend trying the new menu, if you love fresh seasonal style cooking, you will love it!

It was an unexpected experience with everything catered toward the guest. The hotel staff were wonderful and accommodating. The place was clean, quiet, loved the lake view. Upstairs is the better view if you can get it. We also went by the fire and made smores. It was fun. Great place for winter. Great breakfast at their local restaurant and wonderful local coffee at the on-site location.

The property is clean and well maintained. The staff are efficient and friendly. Lakeshore offers many activities to enjoy that are complimentary. Of course there's a resort fee but one has several choices to keep busy. I just wished check in time is 3pm instead of 4pm and check out is 12 pm instead of 11am. Why? At 4pm the business hour is almost ending, it will be dark in a couple of hours to do activities that require more time- golf , biking or paddle boarding. Also, the boathouse doesn't open till 10 am where you check in if you want to do kayak or paddle board then you have to rush to check out at 11am.

Don’t waste your time staying here. Terrible resort. Not looked after at all. Room smelled really bad like mould. No house keeping. Appeared to be run down. Beams and deck rails were in need of paint. You could see outside through the cracks around the doorway.

The lake experience was wonderful. Watching the swans, taking a boat ride and being able to walk to Almalfi Restaurant to sit at the bar and watch sports or head upstairs to the restaurant was great! Sitting on our lake front patio was the highlight of our stay. We enjoyed the lake view day and evening and also enjoyed the fire pits around the resort. Hidden Gem in North San Diego County

A nice location to stay. The building looks like a glorified hotel, but everything is very clean and nicely maintained. The pools and Jacuzzis are great. A fire pit, towels , robes in the room making the stay really pleasant. The rooms are OK. No USB charging spots though. The air-conditioning seems not to be working well for heating so it is pretty frosty in the morning during winter time. Overall, a solid spot to stay

Was here for two of my friends marrying each other. I cannot comment on the rooms as I did not stay here. The venue was beautifully done. The Lakehouse should really reinvest in the boats they use to ferry people to the island. The party barges had riped and torn seat covers. I thought it low brow to have the boat seats in bad repair.
