My daughter and I recently stayed at Lakefront Lodge at Deep Creek Lake, Maryland as part of a journey to a relative’s surprise birthday party. We chose the Lodge due to outstanding reviews on various sites. We found those to be true. The room was very clean and the furnishings looked new. There was a book in the room with hotel procedures and local information. The view from the room was beautiful especially at sunset. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient to area restaurants and attractions. We would stay at Lakefront Lodge again and would highly recommend it to others.

I return here whenever I am able and visiting the area. Brandy is always pleasant and welcoming. The new keyless entry system was great. My rooms are always clean, comfortable, warm and cozy! I had a wonderful time! I loved the surprises in my room this time! I always drink a lot while I am there, so the water and warm beverages further enhanced my stay. Thank you! I had a tremendous time from beginning to end!

I am 9. I stayed at LakeFront Lodge with my mom when we were skiing at Wisp. I loved it. I liked the firepit outside our room and making s'mores. I liked walking by the lake, which was very clean. I liked the staff, they were very nice. I liked the room, how it looked and how calm and relaxing it was.

Our room was very clean and comfortable but on the small side for 4 people. We loved that it was right on the lake with views of the mountain across the way. |Absolutely loved the view and the convenient location to Wisp and local restaurants. We would certainly come back!

Clean and cozy room. Easy booking, check-in and check-out. Poor/lacking shoveling in the parking lot. There were two traffic cones marking icy spots and deep puddles leading from the parking lot to the stairs where our room was . Snow and ice in Western MD in the winter is a frequent occurrence, so I’d have hoped the facility would be more a little more prepared. The fridge froze our sodas - a mild annoyance. Hot water was not adequate for two showers. We both ran out of hot water despite waiting in between. Generally a good value and quiet winter getaway. Bed felt soft and comfortable, but we both had sore backs the next day.

Quiet and very comfortable bed and clean room. WiFi strong and views were great. Such a welcome change from the chain Hotels commonly visited. Being able to relax and enjoy the lake view and dock access as well as hear the geese was amazing. Thank you

Lakefront Lodge - Deep Creek, MD has beautiful, cabin like rooms sitting lakeside; 2nd floor has wood burning fire places, and select 1st floor rooms allow pets. It has beautiful views down the lake and has a nice, serene feel despite the front side being a short distance from the road. There's good eats close by and 2 beautiful State parks to enjoy. Swallow Falls State Park is great for easy hikes and exploring; as well as Deep Creek State Park for picnicking, swimming, kayaking, playgrounds, etc... Wisp ski resort is also close for winter fun. It is a great spot for all seasons. Check out their specials as they sometimes run a 3 nights at the price of 2 deal.

We love the Lakefront Lodge! Right on the water friendly staff and a cozy room with a real fire place in some of the rooms. They even have an outdoor firepit and picnic tables for use in the summer. Close to wisp restaurants, and the grocery store too.
