Great front desk service, Laura checked us in very friendly and answered all our questions. They also rent cabins but they were all booked. We stayed in a king room everything is clean, quiet, and quaint. Looks like a cabin from the inside. I would stay here again. Price is very good. I think all rooms are non smoking as they all have a little bench with a sand bucket right outside the door. I love the bed so far its soft like my bed at home. They have a walking trail to the lake which I will check out in the morning. Its 6 miles from the town of Wedowee. Looking for any place fairly close to eat go before 8 PM because everything is closed by 8 PM. Set out to go to subway that stays open until 10 PM. Have still to find it from Google maps it doesn't exist were it says it is. There is no lake access from here it's all private property gated off no trespassing.

It was dirty and the staff you couldn't get in touch with them at all. This was a horrible experience. I will never stay there again. I have a cleaning business, please let me come and clean everything. I can do a way better job than the current one. I can do more in one day than most. Think about it and contact me at your earliest convenience!

A nice quiet laid back place. The mountains and lake area is gorgeous and serene. The owner is super nice and hospitable. During the height of COVID, I hung out for awhile. Definitely a place to get away from hostility and just relax. The prices are very reasonable considering they are one of the few places to lodge in the Wedowee area.

It was clean and comfortable. It had a mini fridge and a TV with cable which the kids loved because they could watch cartoons. It had a booth like table where you could eat as well. Overall we had a nice stay.

Stopped in to see what they had available to rent for a week....currently having marital issues and separated from the wife which has resulted in me staying with a relative and making 150 commute each day for work (Newnan GA - Wedowee, AL).

The second I mentioned a weekly price the manager/owner was not interested in renting me a place at all. I assume he though I wanted to live there full-time or on a long-term basis. He said if I were doing construction or work along those lines he could help me out, but because I do landscaping and lawncare I guess he couldn't. I didn't really understand that at all.

I personally feel he was very rude and passed judgement before he even heard what I had going on. I have a place to stay and have another option available next week, which is why I asked the rate for a week, not a month....I would just avoid this place all together. I used to refer ppl here being a local and having ppl ask where therd was a good place to stay in the area, never again. I'd rather make the commute from Roanoke than give this guy a dime of my money and will NEVER send anyone in their direction again.

Not a bad hotel. Price is right. Beds aren't super comfy. If you have a memory foam cover for your bed I would bring it. But other than the beds it's a real nice place to stay.

Stayed here for the weekend. Enjoyed it. Friendly owner. Made sure we had what we needed. Good location. Room had small fridge and microwave. Comfortable place. We will stat there again.

Very clean. Great price. Comfy beds. Not many options in this area. Rooms look like cabins inside. Not close to the water though.
