Rented one of Lake Union Hot Tub boats on 2/15/25 to celebrate Valentine’s Day and the experience was amazing! We had Aaron helping us load up and give us instructions and his fun attitude and attentiveness made it that much better! We decided for the night rental 7:30-9:30pm and it was perfect, the Seattle skyline was lit up and the view was beautiful. I brought some water proof colorful lights to add an extra vibe. The water was very toasty, in fact we had to water down the fire a bit because we were too toasty, and that’s with below 40 degree weather! The fire adds an ambiance and that’s one of the reasons we went with this company! We will definitely be back, it was literally a perfect experience!

My friends totally talked me into this and I'm so glad they did. Parking was easily available and the shop front was easy to find. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They had a huge heated room we could all change in and store our belongings. It was definitely freezing out but the transition from the changing room to tub was very quick. We got a quick tutorial on how to manuever, where we could go and when we needed to get back. The boats were easy to navigate. The water in the hot tub was absolutely perfect if not a little too hot. It was easy to cool off by sitting up on the platform above the tub. Once we got back to dock, staff was waiting, ready to assist us out of the boat and onto the dock, with towels in hand.
I'd definitely recommend this, no matter what time of year. It really is an experience.

This was the most fun! We scored a beautiful Friday afternoon spot on Lake Union in a hot tug. The staff was super friendly, everything was waiting for us to get started for a great afternoon adventure on the lake. The water stayed super warm, the lake was cool and refreshing. We were on a boat! The only thing I would improve is the ladder to get back in the boat. Otherwise it was a perfect day. Big thanks to Aaron for making it so much fun!

Went on the hot tub boat on Friday and it was a blast! Felt very safe in the boat and the water was plenty hot enough. It was great at sunset and seeing all the lights in Seattle! They’ve got little cabanas right at the boats for changing (no walking in your bathing suit through the marina) and they keep you stuff in a lock box while you’re out. They’ve even had the heater on for us when we came back so we wouldn’t get cold while changing. Our only suggestion is some sort of marker or way to find your way back in the dark!

What an experience!

The very first thing I want to mention is, we live in a state where it is ALWAYS raining. Do not let that stop you from enjoying this experience. In my opinion, the rain and cool weather (40⁰) made the experience even better than we expected. The water gets very warm, so having that option to get out of the water and sit on the side of the boat was a fantastic feeling. The rain felt so good and you couldn't tell it was cold out at all.

The steering on the boat was very easy once you got a hang of it.

Being able to bring your own food and drinks is super cool. We brought a waterproof tote with us that held our mimosas and meat and cheese trays.

Opinions may vary on what time of day is best for this, but for us, the night time float was above and beyond what we had expected. Being in a hotub floating over Lake Union while having a perfect view of Seattle and the infamous Space Needle, there's not much more you could ask for.

Lastly, the staff was wonderful. They were very informative and kind.

Bite the bullet, you won't regret this experience!

Highly recommended! Very kind and helpful staff - whenever they can, they go above and beyond! We also loved that it's wood-fired and natural water in the boat - we love an eco-friendlier company. Also, we went late winter and the water was very hot, we were able to make it cooler if we wanted and it was still very, comfortably warm for everyone. Excellent experience!!

This hot tub boat experience was exceptional; from the push off to anchoring back at dock. My friends and I got our quick lil intro with instructions and safety tips of areas to avoid and areas safe to explore on the lake at the first hut and we then were guided quickly to our private hut to get changed and prepared for our adventure. The water was SO hot and the real wood fire was a nice touch and made the whole ride smell of a campfire scent. So pleasant! Our cruise was at 7:30pm so it was quite enjoyable to see the city in lights! Would highly
Recommend a night cruise with Hot Tub boats on South Lake Union!
