Lake Lucille Bed & Breakfast - Wasilla, Alaska

It's a lovely and cosy bnb with property accessible to the lake front and the most beautiful pine trees. Carol was the nicest host we ever had in all our bnb experiences.
We had the most delicious homecooked breakfast. Enjoyed sharing experiences with her and other room guests at breakfast. Wished the breakfast hour was longer.
We stayed in different rooms on 2 different occasions. Each room was beautifully decorated just like home. The bathrooms and linen were clean.
There is also a cute little shop with lots of gift items handmade by Carol.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day trip to Alaska. Carol and her bnb left us with even more beautiful memories and with lots of gifts I bought from her shop.
We will be back, hopefully to relax and to explore Wasilla a bit more.

Absolutely the best place I have ever stayed. We had the rose room, that had a large bedroom and a large sitting room and private bathroom. It overlooked the gorgeous view of the lake and gardens. Everything was clean and wow, the breakfast! We had just gotten off a cruise and a member of our party said it was the best breakfast so far on the trip. Plus she had a craft/Christmas shop. This is a beautiful property, in a lovely part of Wasilla. The lake was gorgeous. Our room - Prickly Rose suite - was lovely, so clean and nicely decorated. We had two adjoining rooms, a sitting room and bedroom, with a private bathroom in the hallway. Everything was really nice, it didn't get properly dark out at night but the pull-down blinds got the room close to dark. We slept well, the bed was nice and comfortable. The host Carol was very friendly and greeted us after we arrived to explain about locking the door. I sent a text to let her know we wouldn't make it to breakfast, as it was suggested to do on the check-in paper - it's served at 8:30am, which would be a bit late for us as we needed to be on the road about 7am the next morning - and I didn't receive a reply, we left after chatting with other guests in the grounds around 7. We didn't want to worry the owner about a to-go bag so early, but I believe those are available if you're going to miss breakfast. Overall, lovely rooms and a really beautiful property, hopefully if we are able to visit Wasilla again it will be possible to wait in for breakfast.

I would highly recommend this B&B. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the breakfast was awesome. If you are looking for a place to stay in Wasilla you won’t find a better one.Carol is the greatest host and she makes sure your stay is comfortable and you have everything you may need.

This was my first B&B experience and it was so great. We stayed for several nights which seemed to be unusual - every day's breakfast group was made up of different people. The food was delicious and plentiful, piping hot from the kitchen and served with endless and very good coffee. The rooms and common space are comfortable and cozy, and the grounds and lake view are gorgeous.

We had a standard room with a private bathroom which was worth the extra money for us, though if you're only staying a night it might not be a big deal. The room is not huge, but if you're up here you're likely not planning on hanging out in your bedroom all day.

Carol and her daughter are great hosts and cooks, and if we ever get the chance to we will definitely be coming back!

Great location close to town. Amazing breakfast every day. Rooms comfortable and clean. Beautiful grounds with a short walk to the lake. Lawn chairs are available at the dock to set and enjoy the peaceful lake. Easy, no fuss check-in. The owner is attentive to any needs you may have. We would definitely stay here again.

This was spouse's first BnB experience! We were lucky enough to get a room as a walk-in reservation with 2 adults and a smol human. Carol was kind enough to check and we were able to book for 2 nights! The room is spacious and comfortable, and she was kind enough to accomodate our two-oodler with a cot so we could share a bed. The suite is cozy and comfy, and for the price its an absolute steal. A spacious backyard for running the spit and vinegar out of the tiny human and enjoying some fresh air, a large deck to enjoy the view, after a long 5 day drive this was a lovely way to unwind. The room has a microwave and fridge squirreled away, and a spacious living room; its just the loveliest.
