We stayed two weeks and found plenty to do in the area! The owners are very friendly! There are quite a few rules, but we didn't mind as it made for a nice quiet camping trip. We wished the visitor check out was a little later, but understand the expectation for a quiet camping experience for all. My husband caught a huge (and his first ever) bass in the lake! Once all the day time use visitors leave, the campground becomes very quiet and enjoyable with lots of privacy! We used the community showers which were a little dated, but comfortable enough and an easy to access location. When it came time to check out, we noticed one of our camper tires were. I called the front office and they were able to have us pull up next to the shop on a moments notice and fill our tire with air! We also enjoyed the sandhill cranes and their calls each morning! Will definitely be back should we find ourselves in the area again!

Fantastic Family-Friendly Campground

Lake Lenwood in West Bend, WI, is a gem for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway. My family and I had an amazing time here! The beach is absolutely beautiful and perfect for spending the day with kids. We practically lived at the beach, soaking in the sun, swimming, and enjoying picnics right by the water.

What really made our stay special was the welcoming and helpful owners. They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel right at home. The entire campground has a wonderful family-friendly atmosphere, with plenty of activities to keep the little ones entertained.

If you’re looking for a great place to camp with your family, where you can unwind, enjoy the outdoors, and make lasting memories, Lake Lenwood is the place to go. We can’t wait to return!

Camped here Memorial Day weekend and had a great experience. Owners were very helpful and kind, helped us back into our site and were very friendly. Lake was great for fishing and some small hiking trails were great for our dogs. This place is great for a relaxing weekend or if you have kids- but not for groups that want to stay out past 10:30pm as everyone is in bed and there’s a quiet time. No vistors past 7 and they need to pay- which I thought was odd. Other than that we had a good experience and would recommend this place! 😊👍

I’ve been coming to this beach since I was a child, which has been about 40 years. I learned all of the rules and expectations of the owners through out the years, because they are very particular and point out every little thing. It’s never really bothered me about how they go about reminding people of the rules, over the loud speaker and such. However, this last time we were there we had 3-4 families with 9 children. We needed more table room for food, paper towels, etc. and moved a picnic table from under the pavilion just a few feet. I asked first the surrounding people if anyone was using the table and if they would mind, which they did not. Another lady overheard and said you might want to ask the owners because they are sticklers. The other lady that I was initially talking to said that she had asked last time she was here and they said it was okay to move the tables as long as you move them back when finished. With that information we moved the table a few feet and used it for our stuff. About an hour later over the loud speaker the owner states that the tables under the pavilion must stay under the pavilion and we must return it. I went to the building to try to explain the situation and the owners, especially the man, was extremely rude, cut me off from talking, and scolded me to put it back NOW. I did put it back, but I don’t think that I will ever go back to the beach again. I didn’t intentionally break the rules, but I was never given a chance to explain.
There is a polite way to treat and talk to people and your customers.

We came here to swim for the day. I didn't understand what the signs meant about unloading, thought maybe that was directed at campers or people who were dropping stuff off? Never been there before. I was alone with my toddler and wasn't thinking they were expecting me to unload my beach items there (and then leave them unattended?) Plus that would have taken forever and held up the traffic inward. There was nowhere to pull off to the side/get out of the way of other people coming in. So I decided to park and then go up and pay. The owner came to the parking lot a few minutes later on his ATV and admonished me. I apologized and told him I was confused by the signs and the fact that I was holding up traffic in. I thought parking and then figuring it all out would be easier. He continued to berate me and basically tell me that I don't know how to read. I would have left right then and probably should have, but I had promised my daughter swimming and this is the 3rd place we were trying. So I shut my mouth and nodded and apologized some more while he called me an idiot, and then I proceeded to watch him do the same thing to at least 4 other people in the 2.5 hours that we were there. Seems like if you have to have the same conversation with multiple people in a day, perhaps your signs are not as "clear" as you think they are. Social media and other google reviews confirm that this is not a one off scenario. We will never be back!

I have been coming here with my family for over 30 years & I now get to bring my own kids here to share in the tradition! It is the perfect place for kids/families to enjoy on a Summer day! The owners are the kindest people and pour their hearts into their business. Highly recommend for all!

They were pleasant when we got there the night we arrived for late check-in. The next day, my boyfriend and I had to be at work and left the campground quietly. They complained about my bf's truck being loud when at fact they had a few pipeliners in town working kewaskum,wi (nothing against the pipeliners, was one myself) and their trucks were as loud as my bf's truck.(same truck style and everything) During the day my bf messaged me and said we got kicked out due to our German shepherd barking all day. They told my bf that it was unacceptable. I know how our German shepherd is, too, when we are gone. He only barks when there is someone close to the camper or there are loud trucks. When my bf arrived back to the campgrounds after work, they told him to leave.

Personally if i had gotten off work early i would have asked them to bring up their policy and show me where it says no dogs allowed for one and where it says as well "quiet time for 24/7. We warned them about all this when we arrived. Their customers' services were very rude. They are lucky it was my bf because I would have raised some hell and expressed how i felt we were being treated. I worked in customer service, and not once would I steer customers away about this issue. Treated us so unfairly that we had to look for another campground. Stay at your own risk. They will add on rules when it's not on the policy. If you are not married won't let you stay, if you aren't white they won't let you stay and etc if you catch my drift.

Their parking rule, i think, is a tad ridiculous as well. Both owners told my bf and I 2 different stories about parking.

We will never stay here or give them our money or services again when we are in town for work. Go to Lazy Days campground they only have 1 rule to follow by.

Like I said- stay at your own risk.

Go up
