The service here is off the charts amazing! We have had great experiences every time we visit! In 2021, I was the hospital ED overnight and didn’t get to our room until 6am. We asked if we could do a late check out and explained why. They were so kind to let us have a late check out and didn’t even charge us for it!
They are all so nice and kind, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is good, and the property is beautiful! The landscaping is absolutely gorgeous. We’ve stayed 4 times and will continue to come back! Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at!

Nice, small family-run hotel. The staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast consisted of cold cereal, bagels and toast, danishes in wrappers, and coffee and juice. Oh, and the fruit choice was a banana. The location was convenient, right off the I-5. We got a garden room, so it was nice and quiet. They decorated the garden for Christmas. The sad part is that the front desk told me they were sold out, so it might be changing how business is done.

Stayed here for work over the weekend. On first floor with parking right outside the door. Very convenient when you have lots of luggage etc. pillows could be fluffier and more of them. Fire department across the street. So you hear the sirens a lot. Continental breakfast is bagels. Toast and dry cereal. Coffee and milk. Pool is claimed to be heated. But my watch told me 66 degrees. Hot tub is all right. Fits maybe 4-6 adults. Not really there for the pool or hot tub. But would have been nice to swim. No laundry service. Unless it was moved elsewhere. For convenience k would stay here again. Especially if it’s on first floor

Learn from my mistake, do not stay here. They will give you a broken room with no recourse. We complained because the room was unusable (it smells very bad so the window needs to be open but the screen had been punched out and was laying on the deck covered in spiders) and all we asked was to switch rooms which seems reasonable given ours is not in working comdition (also mold all over bathroom) and even though no hotel we have ever been to has a problem changing rooms they made us wait to call another worker at the front desk and then we waited for him to find an available room and then he took us to another room but after we walked all over the property and approved the room we had to wait at the front desk for another ten minutes to find out the room isn’t available and they are all booked, which is garbage because the place is empty like a graveyard we didn’t even see another soul on our floor. No apologies given just use the broken room or let a maintenance man mess around with the spider covered window screen while we are in the room or waiting. So unless you want a non working room and to be treated like you are the problem for expecting to get a livable space when you pay for one, don’t stay here unless you want to pay for a last minute different hotel and go there after this one lets you down because there is less than zero service and they will just shrug at you like they don’t have any responsibility. I have actually never given a poor review to a hotel but this place is disgusting and they do not want to change. I ignored the recent reviews about the new and terrible management to my own detriment, please do not make my uncomfortable, unsanitary, and unpleasant mistake. The reviews have dropped severely and severely quickly. Please believe the new ones and not the old ones. I believe this used to be a charming place but you are better off anywhere else where they appear to have any pride left.

Its that time of year again to make our reservations at Laguna Hills Lodge. We have been going there for years for mini-vacations. My wife loves the beach and when we discovered this gem years ago we fell in love with it. The location, the price, the cleanliness, the friendliness and the beauty of the grounds itself make it our "special" place. The pride that the management and staff take in this place is very evident. Looking forward to our 2025 trip this summer 🙂

This is the second year in a row we stayed at Laguna Hills Lodge. The rooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable; so comfortable in fact that my wife wants me to find out the brand name so that we can purchase these mattresses for our home! The staff is very friendly, and the service is excellent. The location is central to Southern Orange county, with easy access to I-5. The price point for the rooms makes it an excellent value.

The only criticism that I have is that the door to the bathroom needs to be hung on the opposite wall, because you have to close the bathroom door to sit down on the commode. But let me be clear; that is no reason to not stay here, just a suggestion improvement.

I like the outdoor environment here, it is very well maintained, which requires horticultural professionals who understand the environmental context. Such a garden environment requires a long period of plant growth to achieve, which is not easy. The indoor and outdoor facilities are very clean. The service staff introduced the surrounding area to us warmly and cordially. It was a great living experience.

Big comfortable rooms. Clean and quiet. All the standard amenities plus a great continental breakfast. Easy parking and nice staff. Walk to a variety of restaurants. Good value, too.
