My recent stay at Laguna Beach Lodge was nothing short of spectacular. Nestled in the heart of this coastal gem, this hotel stands out as a beacon of luxury and comfort amidst the natural beauty of the surroundings.

From the moment I stepped in, the modern yet cozy interiors beckoned, promising a delightful experience. The staff, always with a warm smile, were attentive and ensured every need of mine was catered to. Their recommendations for local sights and eateries were spot-on, allowing me to immerse myself in the Laguna lifestyle seamlessly. Will definitely be returning soon!

Will definitely be back, The location is great. There's a Gelson in the same parking lot and other business. Sandra was so amazing, very attentive, and extremely nice. Our room had a couple of little glitches, and Sandra was fast to resolve any issues. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at the Laguna Beach lodge was great! The rooms were equipped with everything we needed, and we were able to take advantage of the amazing location by using the Montage public access beach directly across from the hotel. We also took the free trolley, which picked us up right outside the hotel, to go into downtown laguna beach and spend the day enjoying all the city has to offer!

Some of the rooms have great views of the ocean. Close to the beach and lots of walking paths. Hotel staff is very responsive and kind. The hotel just changed hands and they have high hopes of improving. The tenant parking only is not enforced. Really hard to find parking spots mid day. The patio door was open upon our arrival and it was 50 degrees outside at the time. The back door was difficult to keep closed. Shower took some force to turn off. Exterior of building feels like a cheep hotel. Interior is nice and remodeled.

Oh dear, this poor hotel. You can tell it was once loved and cared for, but that is no longer the case. I’ve heard it was bought by Palihouse, and once it’s been rebranded and reopened I’m sure I’d love to stay here again. But I would definitely not stay here under current ownership as the Laguna Beach Lodge. We left earlier than planned because of the state of disrepair.

Our room was 219, on the second floor. It had a really prominent hole in the ceiling, where there was perhaps water damage that caused the wood beams to split and rot away. Not hard to spot, really really obvious… anyone who works at the hotel would see it, and should realize that it’s not fit for guests to stay in that room. The same was true with damage to the door next to the handle, there was a real hole in the wood and the outdoors was clearly visible through it. Again, with the drain in the shower not even being attached to the ground… it slipped and slid around, hitting your feet with its hard edges, as it wasn’t grouted in place even a little. Not a clean shower, either. And again, with all the weird marks on the walls where someone had puttied the wall, but not painted over it.

It’s offensive to me that whoever is in a position of authority at this place thinks that these rooms are in a state that’s suitable for guests. The one kind person at the front desk is doing their best to support guest issues, but they aren’t construction workers and that’s what this place needs.

I’m sure it’ll be amazing some day! The location is great, and the beach chairs and towels provided are a nice amenity. Those are the only honestly nice things I can say.

Modern, minimalist and well equiped. The sense of clean is everywhere. Pastels and earth tones stand out against the beautiful white walls. The bed is first rate comfort. Location is fantastically situated across from the Montage Laguna Beach Resort. The property is clean and well kept. We recommend the suite with the kitchenette. Look forward to staying again. Loved our stay here! The location is great, right across the street from one of my favorite beaches in Orange County. They provided quality beach chairs, umbrellas and towels which was so nice. The rooms are newly updated and the bed was comfortable. The heated pool was great to take a swim in the evening. We had some issues with flights and Chris was so understanding and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful Stay! Our room had everything we needed, was clean, and a short walk to a quaint beach. Loved the beach chairs provided with the room, as well as the kitchen set up with pour over coffee, a mini fridge, sink, and microwave. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and new, outside was pleasant with adirondack chairs among the coastal landscaping. Check in was online but very simple.
