First visit 2this shop in Kelso across fm. Kelso PD. The place is beautiful, cozy, spacious, attractive & lots2see &do. Vicky was helpful in searching4a specific gift yarn yet no success but we came very close. Beautiful items hand made on display, assessories needed2knit, gadgets, coffee lounge, classroom area n lots 2see! Amy, local Owner has a f/t job + is a rare in the store....

I really love this shop! They have a great selection of yarn and knitting supplies. They also have classes and knitting groups and they are very enjoyable because the people are so nice and make you feel welcome right away.

stopped in while on a road trip. Great selection of both luxury yarns and workhorse yarns in all kinds of fiber, and the staff and local knitters were super friendly! Shops are not always welcoming to younger people but this one was great.

and WOW, they have an amazing space to sit and knit! very generously roomy, with great chairs.

The shop is full of beautiful yarn and lovely displays. The coffee prices are very reasonable and it's a lovely place to sit and visit. There are often groups of people working on knitting or crochet projects in one area at the work tables. There are several nice places to sit for having coffee. The atmosphere is lovely. One of my favorite places.

A fine selection of beautiful yarns from around the world. Amy has a wonderful sense of color, which shows in her yarns, and I saw the most beautiful wool, silk, cotton, cashmere, linen, alpaca, and Angora. And, as if that wasn't enough, she also offers cappuccino, and folks drop in to her classroom space for impromptu stitching and chatting. My favorite yarn store in WA!

As a natural fiber yarn snob....and a serious knitter.....I love this shop! Fabulous atmosphere and coffee bar, a well-rounded assortment of all yarn gauges: Lace to bulky. The customer support here is top notch. Amy and Kristin are always happy to assist me, and always with a smile.

LaFavorites yarn shop is a yarn lovers dream. Amy has a wide variety of yarn weights in fabulous colors. Lots of yarns with various fiber content. There are samples of projects knit and crocheted for good ideas for that special homemade gift. The decor is stunning with a flair of homeyness, that always makes me feel welcome. How about a coffee or hot/cold tea. LaFavoites are always there with a friendly smile and helpful advice.

I love La Favorites and Amy LaFave. I think a previous reviewer had her shops confused. Tremendous selection of quality yarns in a variety of fibers - alpaca, merino, silk blends, cotton, hemp. Amy has special ordered several times for me from two of her suppliers. Home to a great group of knitters ranging from rock stars to enthusiastic beginners. Definitely the most well decorated yarn shop I've been in. Even has a coffee bar womanned by two of the NW' s premiere foamers. Can't think of anything more I'd want from my local yarn shop.
