For a hotel having the Wyndam name attached I expected better. The hotel appearance is good. The pool was so filthy that even the teenagers would not swim in it. Our rooms were decent size though the light coming through the front door kept me up through the night, and the bathroom needed a little love.

This hotel has seen its best days. The black with a crazy pattern in the room was off putting. There were broken items in the bathroom. This hotel probably books a lot of youth travel teams. So it works for them. For travelers that want a nice clean place it does work. The staff was very kind and friendly. The Trip Advisor rating was too high.

Hotel is very clean! Smells good in the hallways and the rooms. Lots of pillows, nice sheets, comfy bed. Breakfast was great! Chobani yogurt, bagel and bread choices, sausage, kielbasa, real scrambled eggs with cheese, almond or dairy milk, waffle bar! Quiet, did not hear neighbors and no highway noise. Really great stay!

This location is in a wonderful location right off I5 and is always clean and inviting when I stay there about once a month or more. Breakfast is always hot and the room is always comfortable. If there is any issue at all a quick call to the front desk brings a quick resolution to whatever little concern I find, and I rarely find one.

My wife and I stayed here for one night since it was close to an appointment we had early the next morning. The check-in process was easy, room was average and we were not expecting too much for the class of hotel. ||Noticed the deadbolt would not lock on room 223, attempted to fiddle with the lock and door alignment, but it would not fit into the door frame slot to lock securely. Used the upper security latch to prevent the door from being opened all the way as a last resort, was late and we were tired.||Early the next morning we had to leave to make our appointment and noticed a number of small bugs on the floor in the bathroom (at least 20 in total) which appeared under the sink in the corner. I snapped a couple of pictures quickly and finished removing our items from the bathroom and made our way to the front desk for checkout. I reported the issues to the front desk person and she said he would let her manager know and she would be in contact with me. ||A day went by and I heard nothing, so I completed a couple of the email surveys that were sent to me and let them know my experience and that I had still not heard from anyone. Finally, after completing the second survey I was sent I heard back from a woman claiming to be the manager (3rd party, named Vesta Hospitality appears to property manage this location). I was told they were sorry about my experience, asked for the pictures of the bugs so they could inform the pest control company. She said she was sorry I had a bad experience and they would address the issues. ||No offer for partial reimbursement even after requesting. This will be the last time I use a La Quinta or Wyndham family of hotel. I have never experienced multiple bugs in any room I've booked. Should have known, you pay for what you get and for 140 bucks it wasn't much.

My husband and I stayed in room 312 from 2/14-2/17 for my Grandfather's celebration of life. When we arrived we noticed that the toilet seat was visibly dirty and when we made the front desk aware, they told us that normally they would send housekeeping, but they were gone for the night. I awkwardly had to ask if I was supposed to clean it and was told by the two gals that one of them would go up there and take care of it. It wasn't until later on that evening that we noticed that the bathtub was also dirty. There was someone else's hair left behind and the tub had clearly not been cleaned it quite some time. We ended going to the store to buy a plastic slip resistant liner for the bottom of the tub.
I was told by the front desk that they would speak to their GM about a discount, but that they were unsure if they could do it because I booked through a third party. There was no discount or accommodations made, which was very disappointing. We will not be staying here again.

The price is good, free breakfast was average...but still free is free, right?||Drapes are built to not close, so no privacy at night.||Next door someone locked their small dog in the bathroom late at night. Its shrieks sounded like someone was getting beat up. Tried calling the front desk for 20-minutes, no one picked up the phone, so I called 911.||We wont be staying here again.

The service and overall amenities from the hotel were above average and very satisfactory. I would highly recommend the La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham in Vancouver to anyone traveling in that area. We will definitely go back when we make our next trip.
