Remodeled and Beautiful!||We just got back home after spending the weekend here, and I feel a review is in order. You know how sometimes you book a hotel, and then you worry that what you saw online wont match what you actually get? Well that’s what happened when we checked in. But in the best possible way! ||We were welcomed into a completely remodeled lobby, and we saw that they were actively remodeling the rooms on the ground floor. And then we opened the door to our room, which had also been completely remodeled. ||One more thing, they’re dog friendly and the fee is reasonable, which was a big contributing factor for us. Often we’ll find a good hotel, but the dog fee will be unreasonable, causing us to choose a different hotel altogether. We were so happy that this is a great option for pet owners. ||The front desk staff was pleasant, the rooms were new and clean, the breakfast was great, and the pet fee was reasonable. We will definitely be back!

Excellent choice for pet friendly hotel. Loved the full size appliances in suites. Balconies were a plus. Complimentary beer and wine happy hour on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday was nice. Front desk personnel were blah and not welcoming or knowledgeable. ||"Welcome to La Quinta, we are happy your here! Are you checking in? Might be a better approach. Or great to hear you would like to extend your stay!

Upon arrival on a Friday afternoon (03/14/2025), there was plenty of parking available.
The lobby is spacious and clean. There was no wait to speak to the desk clerk. He was very polite and friendly. He selected a newly renovated room for us in the main building, #220.
The room was large and immaculate and clearly newly renovated. We liked the wall decor, and the general layout. The only two things missing from the room was a toilet paper roll hanger (but it was on a convenient shelf, so no problem) and a safe (not sure if other rooms provide them).
It was very quiet upon check-in.
After a big night out, we returned to the room about midnight, with the plan to sleep in the next morning.
NOPE! Room #220 is at the end of the hallway, next to a supply room. The employees starting going in and out of that room VERY early and they were VERY loud each time. Loud talking, and sometimes yelling. Additionally, the continued renovation construction of rooms sharing a common wall/ceiling started very early in the morning. That involved the use of tools.
The last part that was irritating is no fault of the hotel, but the room is close to the elevator, and this was also very loud. For some reason, every group waiting for the elevator at 7:30am felt the need to yell at the rest of their group who was apparently down the hall.
Oh, also, why does breakfast end at 9:00am? Seems like 10:00am makes more sense.
Honestly, I’m torn about my experience. It is a fairly expensive hotel, but the experience was a bit frustrating and I got very little sleep.

Clean rooms, comfortable bedding. Dated curtains. Nice patios.
Ample and easy parking. Easy check-in via app.
Front desk staff could be more welcoming.
Dog friendly.
"Free breakfast" was good, it does take a while to get refilled so recommend going early.
Free afternoon drinks by the bar, and great location of hotel are the best things about this place.
Primarily chose this place for being pet-friendly, location, free breakfast, and parking.

I wanted to thank the employee at the front desk that assisted me when I was having a terrible night because my car broke down near by on the 46. She made me feel so much better and she treated me so nice. I just didn’t get her name so I could thank her on here. She’s one in a million with great customer service. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It had a lot of pillows on the bed.

Beautiful facility, being newly remodeled, staff was great, very accommodating. Love the Paso Robles area. Very pet friendly. Upgraded our room . Convenient right off of highway 46. Would highly recommend staying here - we were very pleased.

Fantastic hotel, continental breakfast with waffles! Stayed in a bottom floor room which was very convenient for pets. Easy access to quick walks and a long stretch of grass on the highway side of the hotel. Room was very clean, and the staff was very polite and professional. Definitely going to stay there again! The television in the room has an automatic dimmer that fluctuates the brightness of the screen which was mildly inconvenient but nothing detrimental to the overall experience.

Our room was such a nice surprise! It was so big, had a patio and had a bathtub which was such an added bonus. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is great. I would definitely stay here again!
