We come to Columbus, MS frequently for business, and usually stay at this hotel because of it’s convenient, comfortable location.
Over the past few years, it has been going downhill rapidly.
After this last trip, we will no longer be staying there.

The worse of this was we traveled over 800 miles and the bed was TERRIBLE! It was sunken down to what felt like the bottom frame, and forced a person to lay in the middle because of that. We even had padding on the top of the bed, and it didn’t help. We had sore backs, hips and necks and after traveling all that way, couldn’t even get a good night’s rest.
This in fact, caused us to leave a day early because we just couldn’t rest.

And how do you all account for someone having allergies? The pillows were feather, and apparently there is no option for a non-feather pillow anywhere in the hotel (I was told there were only feather pillows). So not only was the bed awful, but we didn’t have pillows either !

The advertised free hot breakfast was the exact same every morning. With biscuits, gravy and sausage. No eggs or alternate protein source. The oranges were squishy and covered in white mold. No other fruit option. The only food options were toast or a muffin and yogurt, so you basically have gone to a continental breakfast and that’s all, but still advertise that you have this wonderful breakfast that has become obsolete (it used to be really good and one reason we would always choose this hotel).

Our room smelled musty and the TV picture had interference on every channel.
The room also advertises a hair dryer as an amenity, so we didn’t bring one. Our room didn’t have one and none of the staff knew where to get one, so it took 2 days to get a hair dryer for the room.

I’m really not sure what has happened at this LaQuinta location, but no one is paying attention to what’s needed. Unfortunately, you have LOST a customer after this. It’s not worth it to us to come all those miles and not be able to sleep comfortably or have those things that are advertised.

The receptionist was great from the time of check in and she had some dope dunks on as well lol. The room was clean and comfortable. Me and my lady have enjoyed our one night stay together. Will definitely be back again! Also the complimentary breakfast was good and fresh.

We were here for one night as we were traveling elsewhere. I would call this a 3-1/2 star hotel, but bumped it up because the accommodations were what we were hoping got and the staff was very polite and helpful. ||This isn't anything fancy, but the room was clean, breakfast was hot and plentiful, and the location is very convenient to the highway. It's not the most picturesque location (behind a closed-down restaurant), but it served our purpose. Would certainly stay here again.

The nicest and most accommodating staff! We came here after the AC in our other hotel didn’t work and one of us in our party was sick. The staff here was so helpful and made sure we were able to get into a room quickly and made a point to check on us. We will definitely be back!

Workout 101

I wouldn’t say it’s that bad but my bed sheets were a bit dirty so I didn’t lay under the cover , the floors/carpets probably haven’t been cleaned in a while because after getting out of the tub feet were just plain black after walking on the carpet which is crazy to me , they should offer house shoes upon arrival!!! We also had to stick a towel in the drain because it wouldn’t stay open as we took our showers , also don’t like how they don’t automatically give you fresh towels etc but other than that the location is by everything so that’s good and there are many great people working here like the lady who serve food we had a great convo !! And she even remembered that I didn’t eat pork and let me know they had Turkey sausage as an breakfast option.

Very comfortable and friendly staff. My room was clean and I had everything I needed. I was at the end of the hall so my rest was not disturbed. Staff met me with a smile and were very helpful. They have breakfast but I did not partake of it. I slepted in every morning. I was there for rest and relaxation.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not the best but they had a waffle maker so it was enough for our son. Also our towels had makeup and coffee stains. The staff gave us extra towels when asked.

There were several of us and we wanted to visit in the seating area off the lobby. The front desk lady accommodated us and turned the air up so it was warmer for us. I believe she was the manager came and change it back. It was so cold, I had to leave the area and not visit with family. Other than that, the hotel was great.
