Great service and I liked the young man at the front desk/staff.

Rooms are clean and nice. Comfortable bed and pillows. On site laundry, gym, complimentary breakfast, plus parking! Very good value.
I spent a long time researching hotels in the area, as I am particular with hotel quality, and I really happy to stayed here.

We were pleasantly surprised by the layout of the family room we booked! It felt like two separate rooms: one with a king-size bed and another extension with double-decker beds, which my kids absolutely loved. The two spacious bathrooms were a huge bonus for a family. The bathroom cleanliness needs attention though. ||Considering the price, we didn’t expect reliable Wi-Fi in the room and free parking, but both were provided, which was a great value. The American breakfast might seem basic, but it had everything we needed to start the day. ||The location is strategically situated at the middle of the major attractions for kids and few minutes away from the major retail outlet in Carlsbad.||The staff were nice and welcoming, making our stay smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommended for families!

Overall, it was a great experience. While the location isn’t very close to major attractions or restaurants, the hotel makes up for it in other ways. The price was very reasonable, and the customer service was excellent—staff members were friendly, helpful, and always available to assist with any requests.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing stay. It was also nice and quiet at night, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was decent, with a good selection of options to start the day.

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay with great service and comfort, this is a solid choice!

This place was great. It was quiet despite being next to the freeway. The water from the sink and shower turns hot right away & water pressure is good. The hot breakfast was fantastic. I docked one star because we had small roaches in our room. We encountered at least nine during our two-night stay (killed all except one that got away). We were on the first floor. I will mention it to the receptionist &/or manager when we check out. I will also leave a note in our room for the housekeeper.

Positive: The hotel was very clean. The staff went above and beyond, and the breakfast was excellent. The king sized bed was very comfortable. Negative: The hotel is right next to the freeway, so it is noisy. It?s also a bit dated although the rooms were updated. The kids bunkbed is made of metal and is very very squeaky and not so comfy.

Mary Jane is an exceptional manager! The employees are all respectful, and kind. My rooms have always been clean and beautiful! The location is fantastic and just a few minute walk from the beach. I stay here every time I come to San Diego, which is pretty often! I look forward to staying here again soon!

This has been by far the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed at in regards to the area, the comfort of the beds-especially for the price! Most beds tend to be incredibly stiff and I actually slept through each night here. Not to mention thin, the heaters in the room worked great. The room didn’t smell mildewy either which seems to happen a lot. We really appreciated the location as well, since we go between LA and San Diego a lot. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
