One night stay over Thanksgiving. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Grounds well kept with pleasing landscaping and great pool area. Nice balconies or porches to enjoy the views. Rooms were older but well maintained and comfortable. The bar/restaurant was fine with a nice happy hour. Breakfast was standard fare in buffet style. Overall fine experience for the money. We'll return.

I spent two nights here and absolutely loved the feel and vibe. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the Gringo was awesome! My room was clean and I enjoyed the balcony. Very tuscon feel and gorgeous grounds.

I booked two rooms on Priceline.com and it was advertised as a 4 star hotel. When I went to the website, I saw that La Posada is actually a 3 star hotel. I called the hotel to make a complaint about false advertisement. The front desk guy was the rudest customer representative i have ever spoken to. He wouldn’t let me finish what I was saying and hung up on me 3 TIMES. I tried to get to a manager and he hung up on me again. All I said was that the hotel wasn’t a 4 star as advertised clearly from the website. He cut me off IMMEDIATELY and told me he wasn’t going to argue with me even though he didn’t let me finish what my complaint was to begin with. He obviously needs to be terminated, as he is not fit to work in customer service.

We chose this hotel because it was pet friendly as we had to bring our dogs one that is on restricted movement due to a recent surgery. The hotel did their absolute best to accommodate our needs and Brett at the front desk was amazing and went above and beyond for us and our pets. Unfortunately we decided to leave a day early to do what was best for our dogs, not on part of the hotel but other guests. As someone who works in the industry I cannot thank Brett enough for his service and reassurance even when working a double on Christmas Day! We will be back but staying in a casita for more privacy for the best needs of our dogs.

Sketchy about extra charges on room. Ordered room service and they came to room with the food but wanted to take the card back to the restaurant... and insisted I didn't go with. I did! Also unfortunately had an emergency situation nearby and hotel front desk staff seemed timid when I asked about their address while I was on the phone with 911. Just seems off. Overall nice fireplace and pool area!

I rarely leave reviews but this was Very disappointing! We arrived there on a Sunday early evening in January. The restaurant was closed. The casita we had booked was very small, and the “kitchenette” contained nothing. There was no soap in the shower which looked old and ratty. The room needs updating. Sheets and pillows were super skimpy (a single sheet and a thin cover in January). It was so cold we wore our clothes to bed and still froze. The breakfast was equally underwhelming. Our experience in this hotel was extremely poor, to put it mildly, especially considering what we paid for it. Save your money and go somewhere else. There are plenty of options nearby with better service, accommodation, and prices! Don’t trust the pretty pictures. They don’t reflect the experience you will have.

Positive: Location is great. The staff at the bar were super nice. Negative: The soap bottles in room were just about empty. There was no sugar, cream in room. Front Desk number was busy when I tried calling.

We loved the pool at this hotel. We loved the location. We appreciated they offered breakfast.

This hotel is VERY hard to get ahold of by phone. We tried for 8 days straight before arriving and never got an answer. We finally had the reservation line give us a manager’s number but we found out later he lived in a different state.

Our room had bed bugs. I brought one of the bugs to the front desk our first morning there. At first she was disgusted and offered us a refund on all resort fees and a new upgraded room for the rest of our stay. When I came back later to find out about our new room she said it was actually lice and we obviously brought it. (NOT LICE, we were so grossed out we went and got checked out, NOT from us!) I have never had worse customer service than Anne (believe that was her name), who was there everyday during our stay. She continued to tell us we wouldn’t be refunded and she didn’t know that she could move us. (This hotel was literally empty, NO WAY there wasn’t room to move us.) After calling a manager (the one from another state, we couldn’t get ahold of a local one) we got a new room, but not the upgrade we were promised. We also had to fight for our refund when someone besides Anne was working. The other guy kept telling me how much he “felt like s*%t and didn’t want to be there” but at least he was a step up from Anne.

Also, we had no toilet paper or hand soap so asked for some, and Anne told us we had to wait until the next day. I pressed the issue because we had none, and she finally gave us a roll but said we had to wait for soap. Housekeeping came the next day and never filled our soap. Asked again and Anne was so rude about it. They finally gave us shower gel to use as soap.

We had to constantly ask for pool towels because they don’t keep them stocked, and she was always too busy on her phone or personal computer and never wanted to be bothered when we asked her. This woman should NOT be working in customer service, and this hotel should not employ someone like her. We are very easy to please and have low expectations, but this was an experience I felt like we needed to warn others about.

If they had different people working there who knew how to be kind to people, we would be happy to stay here again.
