The service was terrible as well as the fajitas and enchiladas we ordered.. the environment was friendly but not in control. We had to ask for our chips and salsa after 15 min of sitting, they got my order wrong as well so I had to wait for that, after all of that we also ordered a strawberry margarita and a beer which was good but we both lost our buzz when we seen our ticket was a whopping $75 after tax

Ordered Ice Tea which tasted like tap water. Two tacos had hardly any meat. The rice had a slight moth ball taste. Beans weren't too bad. Left hungry for $20 spent.
BTW It's not :a Placita any longer. Has a new name. The front dining area is no more, just the back area serves as an entrance too. Decided to try them after new ownership a few years ago. Won't find me there again.

We went here for the first time on Cinco De Mayo. The service was great. It got busy after 5:30pm. They had a blood orange margarita as a special for the holiday. Three of the people in our group got them. Two said they were not strong but one said it was strong. They all agreed they were good. They then switched to a prickly pear and one person liked it better then the other. The chips were the best I have had in a long time, very light and crispy. The salsa was spicy. Everyone agreed that the food was really good. The staff was personable and the environment was pleasant. I had carnitas in my taco salad which was full of meat and was very delicious.

La Placita was the best Mexican restaurant since Joe the owner. But now I went there yesterday and it's not La placita anymore after years of going to La placita it's now under new ownership and a different name. They killed the entire menu and my # 1 go to was the LARGE GCC best ever!!!! 👌 me and my wife didn't realize it when we walked in didn't pay attention to the new name when we sat down. But after being told the restaurant was no longer the placita and going over the menu which had nothing I would've enjoyed. We drank our sodas paid and left disappointed 😞 no more GCC. if this new restaurant wants to be known in buckeye I suggest bringing back the RCC and GCC. That was what I always phoned ordered from La placita. And always had it made fresh and ready for pick up. Gonna miss La Placita.

Need better service all around. All food was boxed and ready to go, but still no check…

I also hit my head on the light above the table. Put a small gash as the light is made of cast iron; ouch!!!

Great location right on the main road SR-85. Had lunch here and the food and service was good. Love the honestly cozy vibe. Great decor to match the cuisine. It want to busy for lunch so we were seated and served very quickly and efficiently. House made salsa was full of flavor rather than just spicy with no flavor. Green chili quesadilla is my partner’s favorite as he mentioned this place to me a few times. He and the fellas stop here as they wrap up their hunting sessions. Green chili enchiladas were really good.

Hope you don’t mind waiting. Employees are friendly but inattentive. 1 hour + and no apps or food still. If the group ahead of you is bigger, they will ignore you.

Food was fine, nothing special. I ordered queso dip and they brought it AFTER the meal. Mostly flavorless. 3 different waitstaff ignored us most of the night. Really don’t plan on coming back.
