Many of their dishes are delicious, including their specialty rolls. The handmade Crab Rangoon is yummy, tho I wish you got more than four. I don't care for their Thai dishes and prefer to eat them from a traditional Thai place. I think they should keep with the Japanese dishes they make so well. Staff is always friendly and sweet. Food is always fresh and hot.

Atmosphere- 4 stars- clean except the floors are a little sticky. Bathrooms are in a weird spot- shares access with kitchen. The overall look of the eating area is very nicely themed.

Service- 4 stars- our waitress was very attentive and friendly.

Food- 5 stars- Many choices on menu. We had a couple of appetizers- Buffalo wontons and Szechuan dumpling. Both were awesome!! I had the spicy ramen- probably one of the best ramen’s I have ever had!

Best ramen I’ve ever had. The miso soup was also the best. The restaurant was clean and pretty. They also gave a couple little candies with the check. My partner and I have been looking for a good quality place for Asian food in Morgantown but it looks like we will definitely have to make a few trips to Fairmont instead 🙂

I was nervous while looking at the menu because I have a gluten intolerance. Our server let me know that they would use gluten free soy sauce for my meal. I was so happy! I ordered the Hibachi Chicken & NY Strip Steak dinner combo. It came with vegetables, and I chose fried rice plus the house salad with ranch dressing. Everything was so delicious that I could barely stop myself from eating it all. There are many other menu items I want to try. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed one night at Fairmont during our trip to Virginia Tech, Kumo is really a pleasant surprise for us. Three of us ordered Fried Tofu, Edamame, Miso Soup, House Salad and two Ramens. The food totally exceeded our expectations, the waitress (Macey) is friendly and warm-hearted and the atmosphere is comfortable.

Nice place, location is good but where it really stands out from the rest is the food.

The red curry chicken with rice is amazing! The smell alone is enough to drive a hungry person crazy, it's just that good. Ask for it extra spicy if you like that, "It's hot but I can't stop eating it" feeling. It did not disappoint. I'll be back!!

Pretty good food. A little pricey. Customer service could be better, but it's mostly college students doing waiting so I won't hold it against them. Been there done that. Didn't get food poisoning so next time I'll try the sashimi. Definitely need a different playlist though. I know Americans probably won't appreciate traditional Japanese music, but 2005 pop is a bit much.

This place is great! Superb sushi has come to Fairmont, WV! The service was great; the food was authentic and delicious and not over-priced. Specialty drinks were delicious; especially the Bloody Mary! We had the Lobster/Fried Rice special; tuna poke appetizer, and Sushi Deluxe. Both entrees came w/ soup or salad, which were terrific. We'll be back!
