i have been coming here since i was a kid. the BEST bread in the world — the BEST sandwiches in the world!!! i usually get the turkey club. their dressing on the veggies is a perfect ratio and you can get 4 servings of sandwich out of their large. exceptional the next day even, the bread holds up!! i was home for a couple weeks and absolutely had to bring my partner here and he agreed that the sandwiches here are an institution.

Visited late August 2024. Got a full size 10" sub and two bottled drinks. With tip the total was just under $20. Staff were friendly, food was delicious, atmosphere was casual. I found their 10" sub to be just as filling as a Subway footlong but the Krazy Moose sub tasted much better. If I lived near this place I would eat there often.

Neat little place. I ordered a 5” Italian and potato salad. The sub was very good. The potato salad tasted like it was prepackaged (I don’t think they make it there, but I could be wrong). The total for my meal with a fountain drink was around $17

Food has gone way downhill and services has gotten even worse. Waited at the counter for over 10 minutes to pick up my order that I could see sitting behind the counter. Never even addressed by the girl at the counter. Eventually just left, bummer because this place used to be great.

I’ve had good experiences in the past for sure, but this most recent visit prompted me to write this:

Ordered a combo for pick up over the phone, specified it was the 20 inch, asked for no ham substitute more turkey, and a cookie.

I walk in, no line whatsoever, and my pick up order was not only almost 40 dollars because they made me two sandwiches? I was in a rush to get back to work so I just took it, I’ll just eat sandwiches for the next couple days.

They charged me for extra meat (4 dollars) to substitute the ham for turkey, and I get home, and open my sandwich to find It’s over half ham. Now I can’t eat either sandwiches and I’m out $40. Like I’ve said though, they’re a good local joint, worth trying, but the past couple times and this time left me sour.

This business once housed Teeland's Country Store. It was built in 1917 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. This historic building is very cool looking and a must see. Check it out!

BEST SUB I HAVE EVER HAD. Had to come from North Carolina to get it, but it was our favorite meal the whole trip. The sub was THAT good!
