Casino was a nice, small but nice, the restaurant. Valentino's was good and friendly. The boat ramp staff was friendly and helpful. The problem is the rooms. Keyless cards didn't work. Heaters were super loud when they would work. Called the front desk when we couldn't get the room door to open and no answer, so another walk back to front desk. This was a 3 trip deal. Then we got moved to another room and the same issue. Night 2 and same issue, this time she went to room to show us what we were doing wrong and I guess we for got to kick the door before we tried to use the key card. No joke.
I'm just kinda shocked on the casino not investing in the rooms to be more inviting for guests. Better HVAC systems, better door lock system, one that works.
We are working on another trip with family members, and the wife wants to find another place for the week. I'm thinking of Air BnB next trip.
My hope is that the Konocti folks will work on these issues because they lost a few of us from spending money with them in the future.

SO Dissapointed. Stayed Valentine's weekend. Greeting was lukewarm. Paid $$$ for Marina side, yet sent to room front of Parking Lot. Walked back to desk to correct. Next room on marina side had NO HEAT all night! Frozen! Had on thermals, pjs over that, sweats over that. There was NO ONE on duty. NO manager all weekend. Made many trips in the freezing cold to get Help. Several employees told me that this happens often...no heat. Called 4/5 times NO manager ever called back...literally leaving us in the Cold. NOT an Once of care.
NOT RECOMMEND

The service and treatment of its patrons ruins the whole experience. Have had issues prior with rudeness and even reached out to management, but no one felt the need to contact me in return.
Decided to give it another try last weekend with my kids and grandkids as well as a large group of other people. A friend had a machine break and that was a joke! But it got really bad at 2am when the fire alarm went off in the room freaking the babies out! I went to the front desk no one there. Security stood at the door and with no concern had no information. Inside the ATTACHED casino, no alarms going off, money being made do not disturb the gamblers. Never was told everything was fine or any information, no one called or came to room. It was cold and kids were upset. Ridiculous, we won't be back and as well as many from our group that will be up there weekly for the winter.

Great place and they have the right service. HR Department Damien Wickard is something else Is never in his office when I call makes sense he was never in there when I worked their before I’m sorry but I feel like somebody else should be HR he is never in is office if he is it’s only for a few hours. When a employee need To speak to him he’s not there jus saying management there is a lil weird they need to step up they slacking

First hotel I’ve seen where you can’t check in after 9:00 pm. No staff. Eventually, I was directed to the casino cashier, who had no idea what to do. They couldn’t direct me to my room, so I had to find it on my own.
Next morning, the hotel staff was rude. They refused a late checkout. The gym advertised on the website was closed. You can’t charge meals to your room. The bed linens had cigarette burn holes. The key card took ten tries to work.
I’m trying to think of something that wasn’t substandard. Well, the restaurant staff was pleasant and hard working, but they’re not part of the hotel.
Would I recommend this place? Maybe if I really didn’t like somebody.

We are regulars at Konocti Vista Casino and were all set to enjoy a Thanksgiving evening with a good dinner and some gaming. We even booked a room for the night because we were expecting a late evening. From what I can see, I can only review this casino as a hotel, but our bad experience was only partially due to the hotel. I have stayed here in the past and it was okay but my wife is disabled and has a service dog (a legitimate service dog) and I have never been so harassed and questioned about our service dog anywhere else, but that was only the beginning of our issues on this evening.
The real problem was in the casino.
We had an excellent dinner at Valentino’s restaurant and were enjoying ourselves playing slot machines. We had one drink from the bar (albeit a long island ice tea). My wife went to the restroom and on her way back told a security guard that the handicap stall was out of order (the handicap stall in the Men's restroom was out of order as well) so she had a difficult time because she can't fit her walker/wheelchair into the stall and there are no handles. A couple of men showed up, including the security supervisor "Rickie" and I think the maintenance supervisor whose name I didn't get. They took note of her complaint, and we thought that was the end of it.
About half an hour later (about 8:PM) the security supervisor "Rickie" came up to me and told me he was going to cut my wife off from any further drinks because her speech was slurred and this is what is so crazy. My wife's disability is peripheral neuropath and some undiagnosed issues. Her main symptoms are impaired speech and lack of balance. She was in a wheelchair with me as her caregiver and was in no danger of hurting herself or anyone else.
I explained this to "Rickie" but instead of being understanding and realizing he had made a mistake, he doubled down and insisted she was cut off.
There were other employees in the area, and they were all shocked at how "Rickie" was treating my wife.
I immediately told "Rickie" that I was cutting the casino off as well and walked over to the front desk and canceled my room for the night.
I would be contacting an ADA attorney tomorrow, but since this is tribal land, I have little hope that anything can be done. I will still look into it, but essentially tribal land may as well be another country.
As luck or KARMA would have it, right before the incident, we had just hit a jackpot and won back all of the money we had spent and then some.
We left and explained we would not be back until something was done about "Rickie."
"Rickie" should not be allowed to interact with customers at all.
This awful man made my wife cry nearly the entire rest of the night. I hope he's happy with himself.
I am an extremely disgruntled, long-time local customer. My family and I have been coming to Konocti Vista since the casino first opened.
I hope Damien, the casino manager, is reading this. I will be trying every day to get in touch with him starting tomorrow.
Follow-up
No one from the Casino has ever responded to this review or the email and voicemail I left to apologize, or at least discuss this matter.
My family and I have not been back and never will.
If you want to go to a decent casino, try Twin Pine or anywhere, but Konocti Vista

Made a reservation to stay one night in their RV park. Unbelievably terrible park. All the sites are very small width wise. Our RV wouldn't even fit in the site they assigned us. We pulled into the site next to the one we couldn't fit into and we still had to take up 2 sites just to put out our slides. Thank goodness the park was practically empty otherwise we could not have stayed. |Casino was small and dirty so we didn't even gamble.|We've stayed in a lot of RV parks and this was the worst park ever. Definitely not a resort RV park.
