The fish was stale, we had california roll and speciality roll with salmon with avocado, tuna sashimi, and nigiri. Can't say any of it was good.

The lady server was very sweet though and very concerned. I think if we insisted, she wouldve tried to make it right, but we didn't have the time.

Unfortunately the worst of the sushi ive had.

2/5 Food. rolls. gross. didnt even finish my california roll. filoli roll was not good either. fish sub standard. teriyaki chicken had a burned taste

2/5. Service They forgot one of our rolls. When i called back to let them know. the server mildly argued with me instead of apologizing. poor move. poor customer service.

So sad. Hoped for better. This was our third and last time.

We had take out, and while it is quickly made and politely served, it was hands down the worst sushi I have ever had. The fish was anything but fresh. The smell alone made us take pause. The shrimp was slimy. Every one of us was entirely grossed out. I will not return and it may be a while before I can eat sushi again.

Order was available quickly, but food quality was mediocre. California roll was dry. Rice for rolls was flakey and didn't stick together. Nigiri sushi was oddly wet and unappealing.

We had our first delicious lunch here a month ago and have returned often for their bento boxes, salmon teriyaki (best salmon ever!) and rolls.Justin’s kind and efficient service is nice too. The restaurant is nestled in the Ladera Shopping Center just off 280 at Alpine Road. Anyone who loves sushi at a reasonable price should make a stop and LOCALS- I envy your being nearby.
