Bright, open, spacious with a warm welcome feeling. It's popular and busy. Line up, place order, and wait for delivery as they say your name. This even for to go. 2 servers worked the front register and 1 at the drive-through. Staff equipped with headphone speakers, so great communication.

The assortment available is visible with what's left by noon. It sounds like they are keeping up with baking more fresh items in the kitchen. Sandwiches, soups, and smoothies are available. 1 coconut lentil soup with bread choice made me smile.

My almond croissant was a good size, fluffy, fresh, and light. There was a layer of almond cream, almond slivers with a dusting of icing sugar on top. In the middle was a thin layer of almond icing, which wasn't too sweet. I wonder if this was meant to be the marzipan. The flavor was light. The croissant layers were lightly laminated. The exterior kept its subtle crunch.

Outside patio seating for the good weather. Inside has big widows for lots of light and sun. There's a wrapping center for gift baskets over Christmas.

I've heard a lot about Kneaders and now know what it's all about.

Bon Apetit!

Visited this bakery today with my father. He ordered bread pudding, and I had pumpkin cheesecake. We waited 30 minutes for these 2 items. Once we received our order, I was shocked at the size of my $6.00 piece of cheesecake. It was the smallest slice I had ever been served or paid $6.00 for. It was delicious, but for $6.00, maybe a little bigger slice? The wait was what made the small cheesecake funny. Took 30 minutes to get some bread pudding and tiny slice of cheesecake....too expensive, and it took way too long. Probably won't be back anytime soon

I don't think it's fair to have to wait for someone who pulled up in the drive through to get their order when you've been standing there in the shoppe waiting to order before that person even arrived

Further, I placed my to go order about 40 minutes in advance give or take and I believe it was made right away because when I arrived about 10 minutes early, it was ready & colder than I would have liked.

However I will say it was outstanding & will be my new go to (ham, bacon, egg & cheese crossaint). However husband got sausage & said it seemed frozen then microwaved)

Early lunch today at Kneaders, and it was so delicious! The soups were hot and so flavorful and the breads were unbelievably fresh. I had the chicken and wild rice soup with a chicken salad croissant and both were so flavorful and filling, and husband had the chicken, cheese and ham with broccoli cheese. He agreed that the food was wonderful and tasted (better than) home made. The staff is really wonderful and friendly and the dining area was very clean and decorated for the holiday season - just adorable! Looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommend!

I love Kneaders on Ray Rd. in Ahwatukee. I stop by once or twice a week for morning coffee and a pastry. The ambiance is warm and inviting. I especially love the fireplace on chilly mornings. What stands out to me most though, are the employees. They are always kind and cheerful. It's a wonderful way to start my day.

I love this Kneaders location. It’s easy to access and they always have what I need — in stock! We came most recently for breakfast on my birthday. It was clean and not very busy. We always order the French toast. The meal was quality and we will be back!!

Honestly and this is no exaggeration, if you go through the drive thru your food will consistently take 40 minutes. I have timed it and the least amount of time is took has been 33 minutes. We decided to go inside today in hopes that two cups of tomato soup would take maybe 10 minutes? Nope it’s been 27 min so far. Decided to use the restroom with my toddler and it was filthy. There was no soap and the toilets were so so gross!!! Don’t recommend. We won’t be back.

This is a great place for a sandwich. Their bread is excellent and really makes the sandwich. Very fresh ingredients. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The interior is comfortable, well designed and not at all chain-y.
