Beautifully set up for Christmas. Great holiday menu. Cocktails were well made. I had an egg shell in my eggs Benedict, but other than that, the food was good. The sticky buns were delicious. Service was excellent minus the manager. We had a vodka substitution for one of the drinks that they did at the bar prior to being seated at a table. At the table the manager stated they weren't able to make the substitution due to the bar being "slammed". The resturant was full, but no more full than when we got there. In the end we were able to have the substitution, so why fight with a customer that was willing to pay extra?

The Sleigh Bar at Klondike Kate's was definitely worth the two hour drive for us!!! EVERY.SINGLE.DETAIL was perfect!!!! Even the water cups are themed! The food was all delicious and between our table we had 4 appetizers, 4 meals, and 2 desserts.

Nice holiday theme for the season. This was the Grinch theme and they did a great job. The menu was nice and Grinch inspired and for the children they had a room where whoville is and you can take pictures in a sleigh and also with the Grinch and max. Nice place overall

Relax and enjoy delicious food, festive drinks and amazing service. They never disappoint love Klondikes Jaime and her staff are the best. We held our holiday get together there and had a wonderful time. Perfect Christmas destination but truly delicious food and drinks anytime of the year.
Their menu has a great selection for lunch and dinner. One of my favorite places

Used to be a great bar for nachos and good priced drinks. That was years ago, though. These days there's always litter and garbage on the sidewalks and streets around the building from the previous night's drunk college kids who dont know what a trash can is. It's disgusting and I can only imagine the lack of cleaning done in the kitchen if this is what the exterior always looks like. Immediate red flag for me. Presentation is everything and clearly there's no longer any pride in appearance here at this historic location. No other bar on Main Street is as consistently filthy outside as this place is. Ever heard of cleaning up after your patrons? I wouldn't step foot in there now.

Interesting bar and restaurant in a college town. We attended a surprise 50th birthday party for my niece. We were able to bring in our service dog, Greta, which made it special for us. The lower level bar was packed with college kids and our party was upstairs.

Decorated cute for Christmas! Highly recommended reservations, there was a wait. I got the bbq chicken wrap and it was missing the avocado so that was a little disappointing.

Had dinner here on a Saturday night during the summer with my husband and daughter. My husband had the chicken pesto sandwich. My daughter had a garden salad with grilled chicken, and I had the chicken & avocado caprese salad. The food was great. The service was prompt and friendly. We also had fried pickles as an appetizer. The restaurant was cute but the parking was terrible. Thankfully parking was free until August 10th so we didn't have to pay for that horrible spot.

We were on our way down to Newark to go antiquing and decided to stop into Klondike Kate's for a change of pace and try their brunch. We ordered their chicken and waffles and a Philly cheese steak skillet with two eggs. Both were very good and we would order them again. Only feedback would be that I thought the home fries should have been crispier and they were a bit over seasoned. I really enjoyed the St. Patrick's day theme.

house margs were VERY watered down, literally turned clear halfway through. happy hour menu had some decent deals tho! wouldnt recommend the salads

Situated on Main Street, the building has a nostalgic charm with exposed brick walls, colorful lights, and a sprawling deck that's packed during warmer months. It's a popular hangout for college students, locals, and visitors alike. The menu is massive, with everything from wings and burgers to pasta, seafood, and salads. I ordered the honey BBQ chicken wrap with a side of seasoned waffle fries. The wrap was stuffed with tender chicken, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and a sweet-and-smoky sauce that tied it all together. The fries were crisp and flavorful, the kind you can’t stop picking at. My companion had the Kate’s Mac—a creamy mac and cheese loaded with bacon and jalapeños, topped with crispy breadcrumbs. It was decadent and absolutely hit the spot. Drink-wise, they offer a good mix of local beers, fruity cocktails, and seasonal specials. Service was friendly, and our food came out quickly, even though the place was nearly full. Prices are fair, and portions are large. While it leans casual and a bit rowdy during peak hours, Klondike Kate’s is full of energy, history, and hearty food—a must-visit if you're spending time on Main Street.
