There was a long line outside this place and had to try it. We got 3 doughboys to share amongst 7 people and it was delicious. Tasted like a funnel cake without the powdered sugar but replaced with regular sugar with cinnamon. The wait wasn’t that long since it seems like they nailed their process of frying the dough, putting sugar on it then serving it. They also have souvenirs that you can buy. Def recommend as a pick me up snack.

It's fried dough with cinnamon sugar. For $8 it's got that tourist tax for sure. It tasted fine and was pretty good but definitely is expensive for what it is. Line was out the door but it moved quickly. Make sure you grab those extra paper towels

This is recommended from a YouTube channel based out of alaska, the outdoor boys, and many other people on social media recommended this. Huge fry bread that tastes like a massive churro and is very delicious! Can easily split with two to three people. Would recommend this to everyone are there trips on their Alaskan cruise or visiting!

The cruise director suggested trying a doughboy so the line was long. It was busy enough that there wasn't anyone actually helping customers, there was just an assembly line of people making doughboys and hanging them out. The store is a souvenir and a week stocked candy shop. The store looked nice and the limited contact I had with the employees was pleasant.

You get the doughboys fresh out of the fryer so they are scalding hot. They look like a flatbread and taste like flattened doughnut sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. One is more than enough to share with someone.

Loved it. Big enough to share and hot cause they are freshly made. There are benches outside but you really should stand and eat it because the crumbs will be all over you. Went there on July 24, 2024 and price was $8. They take cash or cards.

Very good! It's a big tourist trap, but worth it if you want a traditional treat. It's kind of like a big flat donut, covered in cinnamon sugar. It is delicious, soft and crunchy in some places, and comes out freshly made.

According to the employee, this is what the people in the gold mining years made because it was quick and easy and cheap to make.

I definitely recommend getting this if you want to try a traditional local treat and get a nice picture! But just note, it's similar to a donut!

The bread was warm, sugary, and tasted great. It was a wonderful pick me up after walking around the town. They had a variety of items to purchase and drinks as well. I wish they had tables or chairs there to sit at but instead went back towards Broadway Street to sit on any bench we could find.

The fried doughboy was huge and we got one each. It’s definitely big enough to share one. We were sick after eating it but it was good. And the staff was very friendly.
