Krista is an amazing stylist! The most important thing to me is feeling comfortable and confident while trying on dresses. Her shop and personality combined provide the perfect atmosphere for finding your dream dress. Krista has a warm presence and constantly checks in on how you are feeling. I tried on a few dresses and she shared some ideas. In the end I found 2 dresses that are so perfect! 1 of which she picked out and had me try on just to see. That dress ended up competing for #1 in my heart. I’m so thankful to Krista for this experience. I highly recommend booking your appointment with this shop when you’re looking for the perfect dress. Blown away! We (me and the bride) stopped in just to see what they had and casually browse. We were given “the full service” from Krista it felt like. There was no rush, no inconvenience, just all positive energy and first class customer service. While she may not have an enormous inventory, she has access to everything you could possibly need in order to design the dress of your dreams without breaking the bank. The ambiance in the store was quiet, gentle and warm. She even let the bride to be choose the music playing! It really was an amazing experience and we will definitely be shopping here again anytime we need formals (masculine and feminine!)

It feels like fate that we ended up at Kita Events. My MOH and I had actually been there 6 months before, after a random Google search when in the area, looking in at the dresses behind the “by appointment only” sign. The wedding dress search up until that point had been fantastic in determining my likes and dislikes for my wedding day attire, but no luck in actually finding a dress that fit—both my body and my image as me as a bride. That changed at Kita.

After nearly a year of fruitless searches, my future sister-in-law (she and my brother are up next—fingers crossed!) sent me Kita’s website. My sister-in-law lives in Rhode Island on the other side of the country, but through some Google SEO luck, she found the website after I had told her what online dresses were appealing to me. At this point, I was getting desperate and was considering ordering dresses online and just hoping for the best. My potential sister-in-law found some of the dresses that interested me in this store and told me to go try them on.

It may be a small shop, but Kita’s dress selection is fantastic, with a wide range of styles from elegant ballgown wedding dresses to sure-fire simple bridesmaid dresses and everything in between. I truly did not expect the very first dress I tried on to be The Dress. Krista herself—Kita’s lovely owner—picked it out for me.

It was modern yet just the right amount of traditional and the most flattering dress I had ever been in. And it was me. At first, I thought it was luck that drew Krista to pick that dress for me, but over the next two hours as I tried on more and more dresses just to confirm the first one was The One, I realized luck had nothing to do with it. While I may or may be an expert wedding dress shopper after the dozens of physical and online stores, I know that Krista is not only good at what she does—she knows her dresses and her customers!—but also has the passion that fuels her business. It took her 10 minutes of conversation with me, my mother, and my MOH to size me up, go out on a limb, and say, “Try this one for me” that ended up as the perfect dress.

Overall, this was the best dress shopping experience I’ve ever had—making me feel comfortable and beautiful and powerful—AND I found my dress. Krista, we cannot thank you enough!

Krista is absolutely the nicest and most welcoming person. She cares about her business and her attitude proves that. She steamed my daughter’s bridal gown, veil, and a bridesmaid’s dress for us even though the items were bought from another boutique out of state. Her bridal shop has the cutest vibe. I would highly recommend visiting her shop to purchase all of your wedding attire.
