This place was amazing. I stayed in the Arbor Room and it was perfect for me. I was able to open the doors to a little sitting area and let the fresh air in. The room was clean and beautiful, and the bed was comfortable. I had fresh coffee outside my door by 7:00am and breakfast at 9:00am. It was delicious. I had to check out early before breakfast to catch the ferry and Steve made a breakfast sandwich for me to take. It was about a 10 minute walk down to the town. They are absolutely wonderful, and I would recommend this place for anyone coming to Friday Harbor.

Our four nights at the Kirk House in the Trellis Room were terrific. We enjoyed the tasteful and immersive period-outfitting of the living room and bedrooms, complete with modern conveniences, and the location offered convenient walking to downtown Friday Harbor. The bed was comfortable, the living room provided a comfortable and amenity-loaded place to relax, and the breakfasts were spectacular. We also appreciated the good advice of our very welcoming hosts (Steve and Renee) about dining options. We chose the Trellis Room for the king-size bed and the tub (plus a separate shower), but next time we'll probably opt for the Veranda Room which offers a king-size bed, a two-headed shower, and more spacious feel within the room because there's no tub. We are looking forward to a return trip!

My wife and I stayed at Kirk House while we visited Friday Harbor. Steve and his wife were great hosts. Very helpful and made us great breakfasts. We enjoyed the large well appointed spacious room that was readily accessible. The house is very convenient to walk to town .We would definitely revisit when we return to Friday Harbor

This place is a gem. Not only is the house, really a home, a delight to see with a rich history and great art deco decorations, but Steve and his wife are super hospitable. Poor Steve had double duty while we were there because his wife was traveling, which is why I don't remember her name! But he was a wonderful host who accommodated all his clients' diet needs. Breakfast was a full meal with a yogurt, fruit, and granola parfait to start. Then a main course (we had french toast one day and quiche the next), juice, and meat. Plus, Steve was friendly and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. As for location, it is a ten-minute walk from the ferry so one can amble into town for restaurants for lunch or dinner. Could not have asked for a nicer room or a better host.

Highly recommend! The owners were so delightful and accommodating. The breakfasts were truly 10/10 delicious. The bed and linens were so comfy. My only very minor/small bit of feedback is that fresh cream or milk would be lovely for the morning coffee that’s provided.

Kirk House is a well-run bed and breakfast. It is clean and well lit. The location is walking distance from the ferry and downtown Friday Harbor. The property has onsite parking. The owners are willing to accommodate any diet preference. Well worth staying at!

A beautiful and historic B&B only a ten-minute walk from the ferry. The owners are incredibly kind and made us a delicious breakfast each morning, and even delivered coffee to our rooms. Very cozy, clean, and quiet. We loved our stay!

My husband and I arrived at the Kirk House on Tuesday, August 15th and stayed through the 18th. We stayed in the Veranda Room. It was wonderful. Steve had coffee at our room every morning 7am. The breakfasts that Renee made were amazing! She even has the recipes on their website. It was wonderful having breakfast in the diningroom and talking with them. We even got to meet their beautiful granddaughter. They had tons of information to share with us about the island. We highly recommend the Kirk House if you come to visit Friday Harbor. There is nothing we can say negative about this bed and breakfast. Thank you Steve abd Renee for making our 3 days at Friday Harbor unforgettable!
