Every year in the Spring I stay at the Kimpton for work and I've enjoyed every trip. But this trip was extra special thanks to Noel at the front desk. I was having a rough day/trip at the airport and she made me feel so welcomed. Once she heard I was having a bad day she went above and beyond to make sure my room was even better than expected and hooked me up with a few special extras that totally turned my night around. Noel really helped make it a great experience throughout the entire weekend. I know everyone loves staying there because of the great amenities and location. But one of the best features is the staff and how they treat you. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and I'm hoping Noel is there greet me again.

Check in was effortless. I was greeted by very friendly and helpful staff that made sure I was set with what I needed.
The rooms are nice, but not what I'd call plush. My only complaint is the shower in my room had no door, making it a bit cold.
There is no dining in the hotel, but room service is available. The hotel backs up to a courtyard where various eateries can be found, along with the stadium.
The location of the hotel is great if you need to be downtown. I would absolutely stay here again.

Yes, the room was great, the service was great and of course the location is great; but I write specifically to extol the courtesy with which we were greeted upon check-in.
We were most enthusiastically greeted by Noel. And she was simply awesome! She attended to our every need with adept alacrity. Not only was she friendly, but knowledgeable as well. Her pinpoint attention to detail set the tone for our marvelous stay in your most illustrious establishment. For your sake, I hope her tenure with you will be lengthy because she is indeed an asset!

Room was missing amenities. The room was damaged, missing handles on night stands. Ac/heater was broke. Had to have maintenance reset it. Even after reset it didn’t seem to get cold. So we had to request a fan. Front desk was great when it came to bringing us the missing amenities, resetting ac/heater and bringing us a fan. Valet service was great. Tall black gentleman I believe named Ross was exceptional. An issue arose suddenly. My car was needed with the quickness. He seen my urgency, and my vehicle was brought out with the utmost quickness.

Me and the girls went on Sunday evening. We had the best time ever your bartender was above and beyond attentive to all of our needs not to mention promoting DOCO general and telling us all sorts of fun. Interesting facts about the hotel. I can’t wait to actually come back and experience all of it thank you Jeremy and thank you Sawyer for hiring Jeremy. He’s an asset to your business.

This is a very nice and well located hotel in downtown Sacramento, close to the basketball arena, downtown offices, shopping and restaurants. My room was quite large and clean. The wifi signal was pretty strong, though the room had fewer outlets than I like. I had ample workspace at a desk, though the lack of an outlet was a negative. ||Service was good-my room service meal was delivered right on time. Prices are quite high, and principally for that reason I marked the Kimpton down to four stars.

This property is a winner. The staff were great. The valet was excellent. The A/C and wifi were excellent.||The room was good - it was clean - including the floors which rarely are at most properties. They recognized IHG status and comped the valet fee and added Raid the Bar (know the Kimpton secret password). ||The location is excellent. It's an easy walk to everything.||This was just a very solid property. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

We loved staying at this hotel! Even though it was on the pricer side, I wanted to stay at a hotel close enough to the SAC airport and city proper. I appreciate that the Kimpton was within walking distance to city hall and to the midtown farmers market. The activities surrounding the area were a good enough justification to exclude a car rental.

My favorite part of this experience was adopting a plant to make our room lively. My partner is a plant nerd so that made him extra happy.
