I had concerns about this hotel from the moment I booked, and those concerns grew after I checked the Google reviews. I even called the hotel before my stay to address the negative reviews I’d read — complaints about rude staff, confusing check-in processes, and unclean rooms. I wanted to give them a heads-up and hoped they’d prove those reviews wrong.

Unfortunately, my experience confirmed those warnings. When I arrived at 2 p.m., the receptionist flat-out refused to check me in and was incredibly rude for no apparent reason. Rather than argue, I contacted the IHG Membership Elite team, who thankfully resolved the issue. About 20 minutes after I left the hotel, the receptionist called to say my room was ready.

The problems didn’t end there. The next morning, I received a hefty bill for breakfast — which was supposed to be included in my booking. Once again, I had to call the IHG team to resolve the issue because the receptionist was unhelpful.

Overall, the staff’s attitude was unprofessional, and the service fell far below expectations. For the high price of this hotel, guests deserve far better treatment.

Would I stay here again? Absolutely not.
Would I recommend this hotel? Definitely not.

The men working the valet were nice. Unfortunately that's where the positive feedback ends. There were no less than 8 hairs in the bed; it was clear that the sheets hadn't been changed. I went back to the front desk and they said they were sold out but offered to have housekeeping change the sheets. This was at 3:40pm. At 4:26pm I asked if the room was ready and it was. Why didn't anyone tell me? I was sitting in the lobby in front of the front desk the whole time. As an apology I was offered a soda, which I don't drink, and frankly it was insulting. Perhaps offering to comp the valet for the one night I stayed would've been more appropriate. To add insult to injury, as I was waiting, a couple complained about their room not being ready and were offered a different room. Why were they treated better? Is it because I didn't raise my voice like the other people did? What an absolute lack of housekeeping and basic customer service.

Just a really nice and comfortable hotel. I’ve stayed twice now while traveling for business. The staff is universally welcoming and helpful. Megan at Videre, especially, is absolutely wonderful. I’m not a morning person but her cheerfulness actually has me looking forward to a quick pre-meeting breakfast.

Great place, wonderful bathroom. The roof top is awesome with 360 degree views. The view in our room wasn't great and parking is $40/day, but it wasn't enough to detract from the overall experience. Highly recommend!

Very convenient location for visiting cedar Sinai for medical appointments. My husband and I had a long drive and arrived late in the evening. Crystal suggested we order room service before the restaurant closed so we would have a nice meal and relax and not have to run around trying to find a decent place to eat. She also advised us that we qualified for a late checkout so we could rest after my husband’s procedure before returning home. I felt like she was family and she really cared about us. I will definitely book future stays here.

The staff is horrible, the staff p. It's so horrible. I'm writing a review. I cannot believe how disrespectful and rude. The staff can be. They are so incredibly rude and in your business about everything. Even though you pay for a hotel, they wanna be all in your business. Everything is an extra charge. This hotel, in my opinion, is a waste of money. This hotel is just an excuse to be expensive. Nothing else. This hotel is actually the worst hotel. I have ever stayed in. The food is horrible. The people are horrible. Everything sucks about this place. Even the parking sucks, the location sucks. Nothing about this place is good. Do not go to this hotel.

The location and rooms are ok but the customer service is amazing . David the night FD/manager always goes out of his way to get what you need or find a way to help you. He remembers your name and in the morning I would always get a Diet Coke he remembered that . Thank you for being so nice especially doing an overnight shift !

Modern clean hotel, in good location close to Rodeo Drive, museums, tar pits, food, shopping, instagram opportunities all around! Service is good, nice coffee bar open 24/7, free wine in the evenings...Best part was the rooftop deck, views, pool and restaurant. Food was good, reasonably priced, quick service, clean sheik atmosphere ready for any occasion. Rooms and rooftops have amazing views of iconic shots like the Hollywood sign. Looking forward to my next stay, bed was comfy, the pillows were amazing, nice roomy shower, and a loaded mini bar in the room that would satisfy just about any craving!
