Very nice man runs the motel, he was polite and even gave us a candle as the power company was working overnight and power was only off for a few late night early morning hours. The rooms are clean, they are just older. Not a bug to be found on the room, the bedsheets were clean, it was quiet, and the little garden the owner is growing is cute! It may not be lakeside but it's close and has a beautiful view of the Marsh project they are doing across the street. There is shopping easily in walking distance and a bar close by too! You can't hear the bar unless you open the bathroom window and even then it's only in the bathroom. Overall 5 stars and would happily stay here again.

The owner was very friendly and helpful.
Prefect for hikers, including hikerbox.
Thanks Michael for going the extra mile (literally) to bring us some items which we forgot.

Also, clean rooms and no smell 🙂

The last time I stayed here for my birthday it was extremely dirty and the walls were extremely thin you could hear people on both sides clear as day having conversations or watching TV or using the restroom it was really hard to get any sleep nor did I really want to stay there after seeing how dirty the bathroom was. There was dead bugs on the floor and cobwebs and such all through the whole bathroom I didn't look like it had been cleaned in a long time and the floor was sticky I would never stay here again

The Stay here was just fine. The owner operator is there. Very kind. Cash only. Rooms are convenient. Showers old school. Tile. Firm bed. Easy parking. TV. . Thanks again.

Not sure why this place has such bad reviews. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, and the room was much nicer than expected for the price point. The bed was comfortable and clean, the shower had great water pressure, and the air conditioner worked great on the two hot days that we stayed here. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

$55 / night, good price. Rooms were dated, but clean. Bed was comfy, plenty-fast WiFi, hot showers w/ good water pressure. Guy who runs it was super friendly and helpful. CASH ONLY!!

I was very disappointed in not only the state of the room, but by the lack of services. The motel had no vending machines of any kind , it didn't even have an ice machine. As far as watching TV... The motel had very limited channels to choose from ( about six channels). The motel only took cash to pay for the room it would not take any type of credit or debit cards. Finely... The cost of the room was ~$55.00 a night. If your so tired, or desperate, for a place to sleep, that you don't care about anything except laying down and sleeping... It works. But on a scale of 1 to 10, I rate this motel at a level 2 or 3.
