I really enjoyed my time here. It was easy to locate and a great location to the fair. I was camping alone and felt safe. Great grass in the camping area for a tent.

Really great spot for a close by family camp out. A friend and I took our 2-5 yo kids and had a blast floating on our raft, swimming, making s’mores, etc

Not great place to swim it’s frowned on. Not great for kids 5 an under they cause to much mess an noise even if your behind them cleaning picking up every crumb/wrapper. Great tho for older kids to fish an camp great to bring your own kayaks. 99% sure my family an I will not go back an camp will find a more family friendly camping spot usually go to south Rolly every year but was closed down due to beetles. But great location great camp sights great fishing but for 6 an older for kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed this place. It was quiet in the upper campground sites. The hostess was so very helpful and kind. The Porta potties were very clean. I definitely recommend it.

Our group didn't get room, just used the grounds during the day for our car rally. The park was clean, spacious with lots of things to do; camp, fish, paddle boat, and swim.

We decided to rent a "motor boat" to go out onto the lake for a couple of hours. I probably could have paddled faster than the motor went, but that was absolutely fine. There was no rush. Going out with the family to see the beautiful scenery and have a picnic lunch was an amazing way to spend a couple of hours. And, the guys who ran the place couldn't have been nicer. They lent us a fishing pole and even gave us shrimp to use as bait. We came up empty, but I think that was more on us than due to the fish. If you are looking for a relaxing day with beautiful scenery while supporting wonderful people, look no further!

Love this place! Great for kids and adults!Fishing, boat rentals, nature walks, a small beach, swimming, and camping too! Right off the highway and close to both Palmer and Wasilla, so no long roads to travel. You can do a day trip or a week at a time. We like to go for a couple of hours just to play in the beach area. Staff is amazing!
