The apartment was not really up to par. No maid service for the 5 days of stay. There is no air conditioning - got hot one night we were there. Walls are all very thin - so as other fishermen get up at 2 or 3 or 4 am and return - you get the full details of their plans because your windows are open because there is no ax. For 1k per night - (I just deducted the prices of the tours we took and it left a balance of 1060 per night left over) I would have expected the facility to be a lot less worn out. The wifi was not working the entire time . The bathroom was very worn - shower in disrepair, badly cracked and small things like all towel racks broken - sink with no stopper - floor peeling up. Kitchen functioned but almost all the kitchen stuff was worn out - broken - badly scarred pots - no drains to garbage disposal. I appreciate it’s a fishing camp - and if it had been 250 bucks - no problem - but the price point makes me say we won’t come back there.

Stayed at Kenai River Suites and it was bad. Room smelled very bad of smoke along with furniture, bedding and curtains. Manager Oakley informed us someone lived there in the winter and smoked so why would they allow this or rent it out until the smell was taken care of. It's very run down and many things are broken. I have pictures of door chain lock that does no good as molding is pulled away from wall and screens are just set in place and windows can be opened from the outside, dresser handles are broken and only one dresser, other room had nothing to put clothes in. This suite states it sleeps 6 but dont plan on 6 guys, there is a queen bed in one room, a bunk bed with a double mattress on the bottom and then a single bed in the living room which provides no privacy. This was not was a person would consider a suite for six. Garbage disposal had not been cleaned and had slim and sludge around stopper. Was pushed out of our fishing spot by locals and when we along with other renters informed Oakley the manager, she said she didn't know what she could do and left it to us to deal with. Oakley the manager was rarely available and the maintenance guy took his time to fix anything as he told us "he's paid by the hour so it doesn't matter how long it takes". There are 3 flights of stairs to get to the river so if you have a hard times with stairs, I would not recommend this especially if you are booked in a suite on the second level. The kitchen has a very small table to sit at with two chairs so everyone else was left to sit in the living room to eat. What fish we did catch we had to put in the freezer portion of the refrigerator as there was no room in the freezers downstairs that are provided to the renters. I would recommend asking many questions before renting.

We had an amazing time while at the Kenai River Suites! Management was extremely friendly and helpful with getting to know the area, easy to reach with any questions, and just nice people to work with in general. The suites were well furnished, comfortable, and clean. The view is absolutely amazing, and there is a boardwalk that goes right down to the river. If you like to fish, you can even fish right on site! There are also picnic tables, a grill, and fire pits that are great for entertaining. We definitely made some wonderful memories while staying there. In fact, we liked it so much I know we will be back soon! I highly recommend staying at the Kenai River Suites!

Leslie the manager is absolutely awesome! All she wants is for you to have the best time of your life while you are there. Very helpful in letting you know the area. The Kenai River suites is in a great location close to everything. Best place to fish for sure! When you catch your dinner they have the BBQ to cook them up.Leslie will help with other fishing trips if that is what you need. I will stay there and fish again for sure. Thanks for making my family’s time there great.

smokey rooms old and dirty . the locals push you off the river where you paid to fish and cant without a fight. They changed out the furnature after we refused to stay at the high price we paid over 7500.00. was put in another lodge till they cleaned it. out of 2 weeks we stayed one. 16 stairs to the second flight of stairs of 30 and a landing to go down 25 more stairs before getting to the water. very missleading as we booked with keni Riverside resorts to end up in the keni river suites. freezers were full so you cant put your fish in so we rent space elseware. noisey from the locals coming and going all hours of the night. SAVE YOURSELVES DONT GO HERE ITS VERY MISS LEADING. This is the KENI RIVER SUITES IN TOWN ON 310 TERN CIRC.

Beautiful river front property. Lots of perks for fishing and processing. They get 4 out of 5 because the house keeping is a little slow to clean rooms and keep up on sheets. Great place to stay and catch lots of salmon. Great river access and friendly staff.

I stayed here for a few days while I was working in the area. I had a very pleasant stay. The room was very clean and spacious. It included a full kitchen, a living room, large bathroom, and two separate bedrooms. It would be perfect for a family or group of friends. Both the living room and kitchen had great views of the river! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Soldotna area!

Very nice place! The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The lady who runs it was super nice and really easy to deal with. Great view and easy access to the river. It was also quiet (didn't hear the neighbors, or noise from the road). I would definitely recommend this place!
