The lady who runs this place is one of the coolest people I've met in alaska. Went above and beyond take sure our stay was as incredible as it could be . Even gave us some killer fishing advice wich completely turned our entire experience from flop to fun ( didn't know the fish came in with the tide lol no wonder we were getting skunked haha) also offered freezer space for our fish her only request was that we don't bring them inside ( wich considering freezer
storage prices for our fish was beyond a reasonable request) so our fish were always well kept til our trip home . Also being right in the middle of town but so secluded this place is really a hidden gem..... Those being just a few things We experienced During our stay there that made it so terrific. I Could Easily keep
On however I'll let you know experience yourself!

Beautiful units and the owner, Shekinah, is very friendly and professional. she knows ALOT about great fishing spots around the peninsula and is more than happy to help out any way she can by lending her OWN gear or assisting with your own trip. If you have a large family and kids this is a good spot as well, or if you're just a couple looking to get away. They are very nice and clean. Its a very Comfortable/private place to stay I would definitely recommend!

I will look forward to staying in the Kenai area for fishing this Summer. If there is room, I am going to stay here. Shekinah has a couple of good properties that are close to the fishing( 2 blocks walk to the banks of the Kenai River) for the grumpy old in-laws. While the kids have a really good playground close and the properties both have big lawns and hammocks and area to run ragged. Then if everybody bored of fishing, Shekinah the host can book or show you a ton of activities to do in the area. Simple, basic roomy and clean. Good for large groups. Good for those that like having a friendly host that they can ask alot of questions. Good times.
