Very nice rooms, quiet and very comfortable. Service was amazing. The front desk lady Tinker was very nice and accommodating, helped us find some food vendors, and placed orders for us. And the gentlemen Gary was very quick in fixing our TV issue. I would definitely stay here again. Very nice community, Kake is. Good plac!!! 😊 👍

The owner/operator, Tinker, is wonderful. Through word of mouth she received my reservation and made it as easy as possible to get the room keys and my payment invoice. When Seaplanes was running late she allowed me to just hang out in the room until the following plane arrived!

Super relaxing it was a vaction/ Business trip. Service was amazing and staff and owner was nice and very helpful. Gave us information on activities happening in town.

Spent the night at the Keex' Kwaan for a work trip. The accommodations were excellent and the service was great. I had to catch a plane in the afternoon and they let me checkout late with no problems. The rooms are very clean and had comfortable beds. Rooms also include a microwave, small fridge and coffee maker. Hotel also had wireless internet and satellite TV, which are a bonus in most smaller towns in AK.||||Hotel is located right above the bay and all of the rooms have waterfront views. There is a small picnic area behind the hotel if the weather is good.||||If you are going to Kake, this is the place to stay.

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the lodge! It is a beautiful lodge that looks practically new - inside and out! I am surprised to see reviews going back so many years! ||My room was spotless and well appointed. It included a double bed, arm chair, table for 2, microwave, oven, stove, frig, cooking pans and utensils, coffee maker, and sink. It also had a private bathroom, TV, and internet. ||The furniture looked brand new, the room was spotless, and I could not ask for more! ||I was on the 2nd floor so I had a great view of the water and nearby islands. ||I highly recommend this lodge if you visit the area. It exceeded my expectations in all areas! ||(Some earlier reviews insinuate there is a restaurant onsite - there is not. There is a local grocery store within walking distance - maybe .5 mile. Tinker, the manager, is so accommodating, I think she would take you to the store if you ask.)

We had stayed at Keex Kwaan 2 different times, 2004 as well. After a short scenic flight from Juneau, you land in the unique town of Kake. We were unguided hunting along the Inside Passage. We were treated fantastic and the lodging and food was very very good. The gals who worked the lodge also did the cooking and they always took great care of our group. The hamburgers were large potions and delicious. I appreciated how over and beyond we were treated on both our stays. Super nice people and wonderful community!
