Drove 30 minutes to have dinner here because we wanted to try something new and the reviews looked good. For a small town bar/restaurant I wasn’t expecting much, but even going in with low expectations it left much to be desired.

I got the Haddock Oscar with crab, asparagus and a cream sauce. Given the restaurant’s vibe (small dining room next to a rowdy bar, mounted deer heads on the walls, etc) this entree seemed out of place from the rest of the menu. The “crab” was imitation, which I should have expected. The cream sauce was a grainy, gelatinous consistency and didn’t taste right at all. The whole meal was bland, not worth the $17 by any means. My boyfriend had the battered walleye which was just okay. The service wasn’t great either. Overall this experience was just disappointing 🙁

We played in a basketball tournament in Oakfield on a Sunday and the team dined at Katy's for lunch. The service was wonderful and the waitress super helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be serving our large group. It was a very cozy restaurant and bar with plenty of seating for our group as well as the other patrons who were there. The menu was fairly robust and the food was very good at a reasonable price.

Decided to go for a hike and ended up at the Horicon Mash. Enjoyed an amazing hike and worked up an appetite so a short drive and we were at Anita’s... a very nice, clean, welcoming environment with polite and helpful staff. We enjoyed an amazing burger and waffle cut fries, followed by the most amazing desserts 😋

Everything was very good with a great atmosphere. Log cabin design was very modern and clean. Men’s restroom could use a little updating.

Had the perch and it was excellent, great service as well. Also liked the salad bar and German potato salad. The soups and regular potato salad were just average though. We will definitely go back as it is convenient to have a fish fry on Saturday night too.
