We have not been here to Katrina's Cafe for a couple of years, and we loved it the last time we were here. The dark roasted coffee is good, but their cups are very small for the $3.50 charge. I had eggs, ham, and biscuits and gravy. The eggs and ham were delicious, but I didn't appreciate the eggs and ham being drowned by the gravy, and the biscuits were very small and doughy. My boyfriend had chicken fried steak, potatoes, and wheat toast. He said his meal was okay, not the best. The service was good, but we will not be back.

You can’t go wrong coming here for breakfast. The service is excellent, warm and friendly. I had the turkey mushroom omelette with zucchini added. They give you the option of splitting your side with 1/2 potatoes and 1/2 fruit. I even was able to have a side of French toast as they have gluten free bread and will make you whatever you want with it. Such a treat!

Katrina's is worth the drive if you are not local. We always order the lemon yogurt pancakes. The portion sizes are ample, and the food is fresh.

My all time favorite breakfast place! Always hits the spot! No matter what you choose you’ll never go wrong. It’s very unassuming yet it’s gastronomical especially for those breakfast people, like me! Serving is huge, pretty reasonable for its pricing. If I were to describe with one word, it’s definitely “Yummylicious!” 😋😋😋

The salmon Benedict was pretty tasty, but definitely could have used a little more salmon on it. My sister really liked the veggie omelet, but the biscuits and gravy were not our taste. The biscuits were a little doughy and the gravy was really sweet, like there was honey in it. If that's your jam, you'll love it. But when I'm looking for a country gravy, savory is the expectation. But, to each their own.

When I lived in Auburn years ago this used to be the place to go. Have a new doctor for Mom up in Auburn and had some time to kill. Food was just so-so, and for the price, should have been excellent. This is the first time I have ever seen this place half empty, and now I know why. Service was sub-par. It is sad to see an excellent place go to the dogs. Auburn used to have great places to eat. This is the 2nd place in a row that was not worth spending my money 😭.

If you're in the vicinity and searching for a pleasant breakfast spot, make sure to stop in for a bite. It's a charming little place with a country-like feel. Sitting indoors or outdoors is up to you.

The portions are both plentiful and delicious. With the breakfast items, you can choose potatoes or fruit or you can choose both, (now that's awesome). When I don't forget to ask, I usually want my fruit on side plate just to keep it separate from the hot stuff.

All the staff members were excellent in checking on us and keeping our coffee cups full. In passing, I saw a fruit bowl-like thingy that looks awesome. I may have to try that again in the future. If you're reading this and have an order to try it, please share your thoughts with me.

Katrina's Cafe is definitely a positive experience for me.

Cute place right off the freeway. Popular and busy. A little pricey. Tuscany eggs were good, potatoes tasted like they had been sitting in the steam table for hours.
