We LOVE this bakery! So delicious with just the right sweetness! And they have a large variety of flavors! So excited to find a Filipino bakery in the IE!

I strolled in on a Sunday, ready to indulge in all the sweet treats I’d heard so much about from this bakery, but let’s just say my mouth was left a little less than satisfied. I was super eager to try the much-raved-about Halo Halo, but decided to explore other temptations instead. I picked up a Buko (coconut) Pandan Crinkle, a Banana Turon, an ube brownie, and another ube delight—because who can resist ube?

But hold up—cue the dramatic music! A fly was buzzing around one of the ube cupcakes in the case, and I quickly made my exit from that option. I figured I’d play it safe with a chicken pesto bomb. While it packed a nice flavor punch, it was dry and, honestly, about the size of a pinhead!

I really wanted to love this place because it’s a new gem in town, but sadly, the pastries had the vibe of being a day old. I hate to rain on their parade, but I’m hoping for a miraculous comeback next time! 🌈🍰

My dad introduced me to Kape Republik and said I needed to try their Halo-Halo because it is one of the best he’s tried in SoCal.

He was right!

The Halo-Halo was one of the best I’ve had! The ice was fine, the beans weren’t hard, it has chewy boba, Ube halaya, jackfruit, an assortment of other mix-ins, and it’s topped with a scoop of Ube ice cream and crunchy pinipig. It’s a little sweet but it’s such a great treat. (Note: The 2nd time I ordered, it didn’t have Ube Halaya).

I also enjoyed their Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookie - so chewy and good. They have a variety of crinkles (pandan, strawberry, mocha, guava, etc.) but my favorite is the Chocolate Fudge Crinkle. I also enjoyed their Calamansi Juice.

Kape Republik is located just west of the 15 and south of the 60 in Ontario Ranch/Eastvale across the parking lot from Rodeo X. They have a handful of parking spaces at storefront shared with Rodeo X. This cute little shop is inviting.

The service here has always been great. The young lady at the counter is super sweet and so kind. She has such a welcoming and friendly smile!

Overall, I’ve visited a few times now and will be back again. Especially for yummy Halo-Halo! 🙂

Excellent dessert and well priced!

I got too used to seeing gourmet cookies for 6 dollars, so I was pleasantly surprised to see everything in the store with a price that makes it easy to buy a lot.

Got the avocado smoothie, mango smoothie and assortment of cookies.

Cookie texture and sweetness balance was perfect for me and I'm looking forward to sharing these with friends

Unique cafe drinks here, but found the Taro Cold Brew a bit too sweet. No seating inside the cafe. There is an outdoor seating area as part of the plaza, but the area smells like horses (not sure if it was the specific time of day I was there or if that’s usual).

We happen to stumble upon this very cute Filipino dessert place in the Ontario Ranch shopping center. The owner was super friendly and nice! The desserts were amazing. If you’re on any kind of diet, this is a place you shouldn’t go to lol I know, coz we did and oh boy did we break it!!! But all worth it!!! Kape Republik is the super cool place and conveniently located to other cool eateries. Recommend you try it!

Super tasty pastries - the cheese roll was nearly as good as Portos, and the smores cookie was deliciously sweet. The chicken empanada was a little dry, but the flavor was worth it. If those are the less popular items, I'll definitely come back to try the fan favorites!

All I can say is...🤤 Delicious!
Aside from their amazing pastries, they're attentive and kind. They go above and beyond in customer service and even further beyond with their baking. 5-stars all around. Will come back for more.
