Delicious breakfast here today. Excellent, friendly and accommodating service too! Only comment is I’m not for certain the chicken fried steak is hand battered in house. I’ve had Sysco chicken fried steak and tasted very similar. However, it was good ((not great though). The gravy was good, eggs poached just the way I like them and good creamy grits. Husband very satisfied with his meal and said the pancakes were very good. Will definitely return on our next trip from Florida to Texas!

The Meat Lovers Omelette and Cheesesteak and Hash are amazing, we've never had a bad experience at Julwin's.

Every time we go to Gulf Shores we stop for breakfast... this last trip we stop on our back to Tennessee as well.

If you're passing through, or are in the area, stop in.

Fairhope really has a slice of NOLA's french quarter, and it can be found in Julwin's Shrimp and Grits!

The wait was not bad and our waitress was very friendly.

We have been to NOLA twice and these were the best shrimp and grits I have ever had. My wife enjoyed the spinach omelette and the kids crushed the chocolate chip pancake bears.

Only complaint for atmosphere was the booth we were seated at slants down on one side so my kid was leaning against me as she ate. We were briefed about it before sitting, but if you know its a problem, stick a wooden plank under one side.

If we find ourselves back in town, this will be a mandatory stop.

we have been there for breakfast several times in the past but this was my first time getting the shrimp and grits. now, if you dont have enough grits to make a serving you should just tell the customer that dish isnt available. that is the only reason i can figure for what i was served. the sauce had a good flavor if it had been in proper proportion to the grits but the ratio of grits to sauce was ridiculously off. there was only a square of fried grits swimming in a very strong shrimp soup. i couldnt finish it.

Definitely enjoyed! My friends and I are from Atlanta. We took a weekend trip to Alabama and found this gem of a place nestled away in downtown Fairfield. Don't let the small town exterior detour you, this place is exactly what you go to Alabama for! The seafood omelet is worth an extended stay alone! Hospitality was top notched and enhanced by cleanliness!!

One of fairhope's oldest eating establishments. Definitely worth stopping in to see why it has stood the test of time. Great food. Excellent service. Atmosphere is peaceful. If you leave here hungry. It's your own fault

Enjoyed a delicious breakfast with friends on Tuesday 7/16. The breakfast tacos with bacon were incredible. Didn’t even add hot sauce! We also had biscuits and gravy and steak and eggs. All delicious, hearty portions, and fairly priced. Our waitress, I believe her name is Olivia, is wonderful and delivers top notch customer service. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend and I look forward to more tacos!

We had an amazing experience at Juleins this morning. Our server was Olivia and she went above and beyond!

Our boys have food dye allergies and can't have artificial dyes or caramel coloring. They got the Pancake bears and the syrup had caramel coloring so we asked for honey. She came back with sugar free syrup because they were out of honey, hoping it would suffice. After we told her about the allergies she went back and a few minutes later came back with Chocolate syrup and informed us that the owner had left to go down the road to buy honey for our boys and they would remake the pancakes so they were fresh! We were shocked! It was amazing they would go to such lengths to take care of a family that is just passing through. I highly recommend you try them!

The food tasted great, came out quickly, it was accurate to what we ordered and the atmosphere is clean and fun!

We hope to be back!!
