J.P. Henry's is an awesome pub with incredible service! We ordered a group meal for takeout (8 orders), and they had everything ready to go when we arrived. Everything was accurate and carefully packaged, and they offered to help us carry it out to the car. From the host to the owner, everyone was friendly, easygoing, and gracious.

I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, which was unlike any I've ever had. It's a bit on the light side, and the meat is kind of like hamburger. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order it again. The French fries are excellent. I would love to eat at J.P. Henry's in person next time. The atmosphere when I walked in was an idyllic pub scene, and food is always better when you aren't taking it to go. For that reason, I'll absolutely be back.

Great place for food and beer. Lots of TVs for viewing. This is a restaurant with plenty of space. The price of beer is a bit high considering these beers are mass produced. There isn't a microbrewery here. My cheese steak was excellent and the pumpkin cheesecake delicious. Great service!

Always great food and great service. Weather its for lunch or dinner. Weather they're busy or not. We really enjoy it here! They always go above and beyond. We eat there at least twice a week.

My buddy Danny and I were on our annual motorcycle trip. And when we were in town multiple people suggested JP Henry's.
So we stopped, got right in and had some super amazing food.
Super tasty and well presented. Our hostess was nice. Our waitress was amazing. And I can't get over how phenomenal the food was! If we make it back out to West Virginia... This will definitely be a place we stop again 🙂

Chose JP Henry’s as we were making our way north on I-77. What a very fun and cool place. Pretty extensive menu with lots of things to choose from. We both had a craving for a hamburger and they were delicious! Our server was very attentive. We will return again when we pass through next year. A solid 5 star rating.

Thank you Google Map again for guiding us to one of the greatest restaurants. We had ridden 20 miles on bikes and we were starving and exhausted. I looked on Google Maps for restaurants and J.P. Henry’s was very pleasing to my eyes. Beautiful decor and the photos of the food and beverages was appealing to me. The location was 5 minutes from our hotel. I hope that I can describe how wonderful an experience we had at J.P Henry’s. Our wait staff was helpful and professional. We had our beverages immediately and our appetizer soon afterward. Delicious on both accounts. We had steak that was cooked perfectly to our specifications. I had broccoli and mashed potatoes that were delicious also. I was so very pleased with everything about this restaurant. We will be stopping again when we return to ride the rail to trail in Parkersburg. Thank you to everyone that made the end of our day perfect.

NY strip no taste...baked potato came straight from microwave...the $37 entree not what was expected.

The Grey Goose martini drink did not taste like vodka, mostly ice and water.

Our waitress Sidney did the best she could...

I've read a lot of good reviews about this place, so I was really looking forward to a great prime rib. The reviews let me down! It was not the worst prime rib I've ever had, but it was definitely next to the worst. I've had better prime rib on the bar at Shoney's! The steamed broccoli was exactly as described, with no salt or butter. Just plain flavorless broccoli. That's what the prime rib was like, too; no seasoning. The au jus could have been dirty water for all I know. If it was the drippings from the prime rib, they really need to step up their game! Our server was MIA most of the time. He forgot about us. I had to get another wait staff member to go find him to pay my bill. I told my wife that I think the first time there will also be our last, but I think she wants to give it another try. It'll be a while, though!
