I stopped here while driving my kid back over to Dunsmuir after hearing about it on Peter Santenello's brillaint YouTube feature about Trinity County. The mac balls looked bomb and ngl I've been low key obsessing about them for a month now. Luckily there was one order left so we got to try them, they are the literal ambrosia of comfort food. The Carne tacos were amazing too with a very smoky tri-tip and tons of onions in the mix which is my favorite. Very chill and laid back outdoor atmosphere, 10/10 will absolutely be stopping here again to try something different from the menu. 😋😋😋

Lewiston is sooooooooo blessed to have J&J’s Smokehouse. I vote, one of the best places to eat in Trinity County!

I’ve had the Mountain Philly a few times and it’s honestly the kind of sandwich you dream about. Smokey, hot, melty Swiss cheese, and an overall bite that just melts in your mouth every time. It’s. So. Good! I can’t wait to try more from J&J’s Smokehouse.

Highly recommend!

Popped in here today after seeing it in a YouTube video. We had a pulled pork sandwich, tacos and Mac 'n cheese balls. All of it was outstanding. If whatever you order doesn't have slaw on it, get yourself a side of it.

Also make sure to pop into the store next door and grab yourself a slab or two of ribs. 😁

We'll definitely be coming back to this place if we're in the area. Thank you for the awesome food today.

Wow! First time in Lewiston and had to try this place. I’m picky when it comes to Tri-tip. Let me tell you…BEST TRI TIP SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD!!! The bread was perfectly toasted, the perfect amount of barbecue sauce and the meat itself was perfection. So tender! We also got the Tri-tip tacos, wow!! Also just amazingly delicious. I’m coming back to Lewiston just to eat here again (I live an hour away lol)

This place has the best mac and cheese I've ever had. I had the reuben which was also quite good.

It's a bit out of the way but it's now a staple on my list for any time I visit the Trinity NF area again.

The best wings I've ever eaten! I think about them almost daily! The pizza is so good! You can tell they take pride in their food. Highly recommend 👌
