As didn’t stay at the BNB but if it’s anything like the charter we definitely would!||In a day and age, where we are need to be skeptical of everything, it is beyond refreshing to find good, honest, kind people. This was Awesome alternative to doing a cruise excursion. Communication by Connie prior and before pick up was fabulous. Pick up and return to port were timely and seamless. Gary took great care of my husband, brother and two sons. It was both the boys best memory of our Alaskan cruise. Highly, highly recommend these folks.

We enjoyed our stay at the Jamestown B&B. The view of the picture window on the ocean! The hot tub overlooking the ocean! It's a little on the small side, but we three guys stayed there comfortably, and it had everything we needed. There is also an additional adjacent room available.Nicely furnished. Connie and Gary were very accommodating. The breakfast and boat lunches Connie prepared were very tasty. We went fishing with Gary. The first day was very challenging. The second day we each got our one allowed King, and several more assorted species. On the third day we caught four or five more Kings, but had to throw them back! The Coho just weren't quite in yet, though we did bring home several. Gary was very knowledgeable about Sitka and Alaska, and we enjoyed talking with him while we fished. Overall, a very nice experience.

We stayed at the B & B and really enjoyed our two nights there. The room was impeccably clean, and the jacuzzi was such a great way to enjoy the beautiful views of the bay after a long hike up Harbor Mountain. They pre-made our breakfast and placed it in the fridge the night before so we could wake up and eat at our own leisure- we had a breakfast sandwich and fruit the first morning, and Belgian waffles w/blueberries the next morning- we had the 6 am flight out so it was really nice to get up, make coffee, and have breakfast ready before departing. Both breakfasts were delicious! We also appreciated that it was peaceful and away from the tourist crowds of downtown. Both Gary and Connie were friendly and accommodating and also gave us plenty of privacy and space to enjoy ourselves. We'd definitely stay again!

Gorgeous views of the bay, especially while enjoying the spa on the porch. Great check-in process for a lovely room with a mini kitchen. Connie provides great and generous breakfasts. no need to bring extra food. Comfy bed. Wonderful hosts- both Connie and Gary were helpful- they helped us get a car rental when there were none found... At this location outside of town, a car is vital, otherwise it is a long walk. || Fishing with Gary was beautiful and I caught a King Salmon!

We needed one night in June as we were joining our expedition cruise the next day. I was underwhelmed by the hotel options in town and waited too long to get an airbnb. Connie allowed me to book the one night even tho they usually require a 2 night minimum. She charged me a small extra amount since we were only staying the one night. Our room was very clean and comfortable and included a very comfortable bed, a small sitting area with a couch, a cute little table and 2 chairs with places set for our breakfast, a nice little kitchenette and good size bathroom with nice shower. I'm not sure if there was air conditioning and the room was a bit warm; however, we opened the windows over the kitchen counter and the bathroom window and that was enough to cool the room. The deck offers a gorgeous view from which we enjoyed the sunset and our morning coffee. Breakfast included coffee, a choice of 2 cereals, bananas, and breakfast sandwiches which Connie had made a wrapped in the fridge, along with instructions on how to heat them in the toaster oven. There was also yogurt and milk. ||We took a walk in the morning on a path that runs along the shoreline. Be aware that the bnb is on a pretty steep hill so it's a steep walk down to the path and back up. Connie came down in the morning to chat with us and she was so pleasant and informative. I would recommend Jamestown Bay Inn BNB and would stay here again.

The location is beautiful and the hosts were amazing. They provided breakfasts that got you ready for the day and were genuinely interested and willing to give recommendations for places to go, see, and eat. We did the wildlife boat tour and it was a great outing (whales, otters, & birds). We will definitely use them again on our next visit!

My husband and I stayed at Jamestown B&B May 29 to June 3 after a week with Uncruise (excellent trip) and a week in Juneau (we like that area a lot also). The house is a couple miles from town on a fairly steep hill with great views, even from the hot tub 🙂 We were picked up at the airport by Jeff Budd (Checkered Tours) who gave us a great overview of the town and surrounding area, took us to the grocery store, dropped off luggage at the B&B then dropped us off at Yellow Jersey cycle shop to pick up our rental bikes. We biked all over, except for the last hill up to the B&B, which required walking instead. Getting into town was only 10 minutes but is less pleasant in the rain. We were happy staying at a place outside of town with the breakfast supplies from Connie and the fact that it doesn't take all that long to go through the little downtown and the museums and science center (2 days), and the hiking and biking trails were easy to access. The room is comfortable and large with a nice bathroom and enough kitchen facilities. Connie was very responsive to our divergent requests for breakfast (low vs high carbs)

What a wonderful B&B to stay at!! Perfect room: clean and comfy!! What a view to wake up to every morning! Delicious breakfasts that were quick and easy. While staying we reached out to Connie with a little problem and it was taken care of immediately. Perfect place if you want to be a little bit out of the way and not in the middle of town, which my daughter and myself absolutely loved. Great deck to take in the view, have a meal, or read a book. The peace and quiet and sounds of nature were amazing!! Definitely recommend and will stay here again!
