My wife and I had an absolutely delightful stay at Inn St Helena. Patrice checked us in early as our room was ready and gave us great recommendations for dinner, she cooked us a fabulous Parmesan crusted quiche and fresh croissants for breakfast the next morning as well. We stayed in the Bamboo Room the bed was super comfy and my wife enjoyed the bath thoroughly. We would absolutely stay again.

Very nice service and awesome breakfast! It's a little bit pricy, but the location and experience are awesome! It's right off the busy main street - hopefully the window can be replaced with double pane window for better sound-proof in the future. Also the jet tub is a bit old, but overall, it's a great weekend staycation choice!

I secured the entire Inn for my family the weekend of my wedding. Everyone loved their beautifully appointed rooms, privacy, ensuite bathrooms, and delicious full breakfast each morning. The staff was so easy to work with and very accommodating. And the location made it even better, just a block away from the heart of St. Helena.

The main reason I chose this b&b for our very special getaway was the breakfast. It is highlighted in the description. Well, when we arrived, we were told that they do not cook breakfast if only one room is occupied.
This was not mentioned in the description, this was not communicated in advance. Instead, we were given vouchers to a gas station across town upon arrival. But, wait for it, "on Sunday another guest would arrive and breakfast will be served", we were told. Well, comes Sunday, and the other guest declines breakfast. What do we get? A coupon. So, basically, ANOTHER GUEST DECIDED our breakfast situation! ".. and the premium Napa Valley wines that we serve each evening..." Nope, no premium Napa Valley wines went our way in the three evenings we stayed.. As the cherry on top of this, the gas fireplace in our suite did not work (confirmed by the manager). Holiday season, mind you.. This definitely did not meet our expectations. There are much better places in St. Helena and Calistoga in this price range.

Inn St Helena is the second best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed at (and that is not a knock - the best was in a small mountain town in Italy).

I get homesick when I travel, and the accommodations were wonderful. We stayed in July, and the - as we were told - newly installed air conditioner was a big help. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had everything we needed. We had the run of the house (shared with other guests although no one was there) but preferred to stay in our room while we were not out.

Location was great - right off downtown and not far from the Silverado Trail (we brought our bicycles).

The proprietor, Patrice, was very nice and welcoming.

THE BREAKFASTS WERE FANTASTIC! WHATEVER YOU DO, EAT BREAKFAST HERE!!! I kid you not, I ate the best croissant of my entire life. If there are not enough guests for breakfast (which happened once), you will get a gift card for an almost equally awesome breakfast down the street.

I would love to stay here again. Now, the price is no joke ... but if it is a special occasion or you have saved up, you will not regret it.

This was our second stay at the Inn St. Helena and it was just as charming and wonderful as I had remembered. The rooms are beautiful, incredibly comfortable beds. I stayed in the main house this time. We appeared to be the only guests in the main house, which was really nice. There was a quaint little sitting room (which is shared space, but since we were the only ones there felt like a nice private extension of our room) that had coffee, fridge, filtered water, everything you could ask for. Location is perfection, you are walking distance from fabulous restaurants, shops and tasting rooms. By far the best part, the breakfast. I am gluten free and they did an amazing job accommodating me (GF french toast!!). Staff was so warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this B&B!

Everything was beautiful inside and out of the Inn. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was a delightful experience with a different meal each morning. The upstairs gathering room was perfect for morning coffee with our friends, or evening visits before bed. ||We got to meet the owner at breakfast our fist morning, which was a special treat. Patrice & Lindsey, the Inn Keepers, were a bonus to our stay. They were both so knowledgeable and didn't seem bothered by any of our questions.||Only negative is the thermostat did not stay set to a comfortable setting at night. We were awaken because we got hot at night. ||Overall, I would stay here again!

I cannot recommend Inn St. Helena enough. Location is perfect for walking downtown and even driving to various areas nearby. We stayed in the mollie day room and had our own little patio right off the parking lot that was so convenient. Patrice, the Inn Keeper, is a wonderful host and her breakfast should not be missed! Top notch daily! I loved chatting with her and asking questions about the history of the house. Will most definitely stay again!
